hi, i love the lamp.. do you do something with the wood? to protect it from releasing airbubbles or moisture?
How do you ensure the first pour and second pour are identical colours? Also shouldn’t glasscast be poured in 25mm intervals? Does pouring all at once cure just as well? Thanks

Hello. What’s the secret if I want to cast something bigger than the 1cm layers recommended by epoxy? Do I have to consider the mixing ratio as well? I mean by, say, not a 2: 1 ratio but more / less? It has been written in several places that it breaks ugly during drying if we use a lot at once

@@mbresinart super thx! second question. in this video you use 2 layers of epoxy. the first one then you put the leds in and after that the second layer.
in the end result do you see the layer 1 and 2 or are they nice mixed together?

Question how do you remove the glass when you glue it's against the wood? I noticed that it was removed after the process how though? I dont think you can send glass but I'm not 100% sure

Hi, I’ve tried this exact design (saw yours & loved it!!) BUT after I poured the resin, the lights stopped working?!
I can only guess that the heat from the resin hardening cooked them?? Very very frustrating.
I think it was like that, maybe you poured too much resin and it boiling
@@mbresinart I’m not using the glass cast resin but when you’re pouring, do you do it in stages?? Slowly bit by bit until it’s full??

Paper grades possibly 320 - 3000 wet n dry. Polish buffing. Abrasive paste (rough) followed by finer polishing compounds. Like 3m automotive 'Fast cut', 'ultra fine SE & 'Extra Fine Plus' (you might find the triple pack, 8oz(250ml) bottles
