I had *exactly* the same thought about those rubber pads for the pedals when I fitted mine. 1 hour of swearing later.... 🤣
Oh yes, those rubber pads was quite difficult to deal with :D
Hello, NEVER use grease in a break! Safe greetings ✌🏼
Hi, Thanks for being observant. I had nothing else at the time to help the brake shooes get in place. I have replaced it :)
It is a good idea to fit the brakelines first, the the cylinders. Can you tell the threads and shape (E or F) of the connectors, pls.
Noted about the cylinders as it was a pain to install. Not sure which connectors you're referring too ?
@@CMFotoPeak I mean the Brakeline nipples. The latest threads are M10x1mm. Some are 3/16"?
What brand is the brakelight switch, pls.? I tested several ones, as a lot of them don't last longer than 2 or 5 stopps.
I think it's the original, as i didn't change it. it says 39184 and 1381A on it. I haven't actually tested if it works yet ;D
what is the tool you made the brake line ends with called and where did you get it?
Try searching for Brake Flare tool kit. Every car part place should have it.
Wish I could get all parts to recondition a series 3 88
Nice!
