I was there on a boat trip way back in the late fifties. That marina was not there. it was just a sandy beach but I Dad videoed the sunset there and we have never forgotten it. He had a 8 mm kodak camera after the trip you got them developed and watch them on the watchamacallit. I cant remember. thanks guys. brought back memories and we need to go camping there.

You might try checking out our video on Piney Campground. They have several sites that are full hook up, including sewer. It's just down the road a few miles from this one. Thanks so much for joining us. And I hope you have a great time in Tennessee. 😊
One thing that gets me about sites these days is they want to charge the earth but do not want to level it on their pitches. Looks like a great place for boats, they are an RV after all.
We didn't like it either when we sat out. We couldn't hear it when we were inside the camper. There were other sites that would have been better. Safe travels.
I really like your 10 point system and you are very generous with your scoring. I'd probably not scored some as high you guys. I know where I'll be going in a couple of years to get my discount! LOL.
We are so excited about this discount. We actually have our first reservation tomorrow and we'll get our campground for $15 a night. It's a core of engineers' park. We just kind of call the campgrounds the way we see them.😁 Safe travels friend.
Are you guys stalking me? I was just in Paris Friday for a project. I had planned on videoing the KOA but the project ran long and then I got sent some work in Alamo so there was no time for that. Good video guys. Might I suggest Hillmans Ferry in LBL?
It appears we must be stalking you. 😅 Hopefully you can get it on your next trip. We will try to remember that. We haven't been to Hillman's ferry. We are currently at Floating Mills, but week after next we are headed to the northeast and on into Canada. So it may be a while. Save travels.
Not sure I can rate the bathhouse that highif it does not have a changing area for the shower that is not part of the shower. Chairs in teh hall looked suspect.

We were there about ten yrs. ago, we loved it. Sewer hook ups don’t bother us, just so they have a place for us to dump. Lots to do there.
That's exactly how we feel. Most state parks don't have sewer hook-ups, but they work out great. Safe travels. 🙂
