Thank you for the awesome video - I wanted to ask you Sensei, when you tie your men using the Kansai method; do you have your himo pre-tired, so that when you slip it on, you're able to tie it quicker? I use the Kansai method myself (newly in bogu, this method helps me keep my chin from slipping about, (doesn't help I have a beard that gets very sweaty) and the Kanto method hurts my ears way too much) and find that sometimes I'm not tying it tight enough. Thanks for your feedback sensei, if you could maybe make a video about the Kansai method, that'd be even better. Domo Arigato. (bows)

Thank you for your comment! The kaansai style is a rare breed :) I can show you how I do it. It is a bit different too. :)

@@KendoGuide Definitely a rare-breed, I've only seen 3-5 people tie in this way. As I've said my reasoning is so that my chin doesn't slide about. Thank you sensei, I really appreciate this! The videos I've seen seem to be arduous (although my current method) especially when every other Kendoka in my Dojo tie their men in 10 seconds flat... I look forward to this. Arigato Gozaimasu!
