Peters kit definitely sounds better with remo :) I play full time and I've found that my remo heads last longer I can push them to changing a head every 2 months on my snare than when i played a short stint with evans which was like every month. I feel like I play smoother with remo cause my tone is more forgiving can't explain it but I love it. My drums are not expensive but I've gotten lots of compliments especially since deciding that i've tried everyone but remo really suits me
Vern Sorrel Horse If it's any better, I recently discovered the coating on my vintage emperors on my toms started to wear off (I put them on almost a year ago). If that's not quality, I don't know what is
The Vintage Ambassador may be the best tom batter head ever, INCREDIBLE sound and feel. Depth, warmth, tone...it’s got it all. Peter Erskine’s drum sound is iconic, I love his palette. It’s only right that Remo should be a part of that, a classic head for a classic drummer. The DW endorsement apparently didn’t last too long, I’ve been seeing him on Tamas for quite awhile now. Wonder what happened there? I always thought he should be a Gretsch guy, I love Tama but it never seemed like a natural fit to me. So weird that Gretsch and Ludwig never paired up with Peter - he’s a legendary player, as well as an intelligent and articulate man. You’d think the US based companies would’ve wooed him ages ago. The man was playing with chops at 5 years old! Unbelievably gifted.
True legend, a master, and a phenomenal player.

Remo = Excellence :-)
You gotta love Peter's sense of humor! Great guy and what a legendary sound!
Having an affair with Remo 😆😆😆😆😆
I prefer Remo over Evans by far
What are the resonant heads?
Er-Skyntone heads--LOL
Some vids I see where Remo guys aren't suppose say their competitors name... At least that's what I've seen but here... He mentions Evans
What is the difference between Fiberskyn and Skyntone?
skyntone is slightly thinner.
Welcome back home Peter! I always wondered why you were using those ghastly Evans heads anyway...
Very short skins oar in my box use skins of the oar
