The company I work for currently owns most of the buildings on the property now, sad to learn how it all ended with cat. But I'm happy that manufacturering and some jobs were brought back to the area
As I understand it, no RH400 shovels were supplied in Bucyrus colors, one was built during the short period before Caterpillar took over, but was painted white with Cat branding. This machine, the twelfth example built, was supplied to an Australian coal mine in 2011

I knew when cat bought them quality.and everything else would go down i hate to see it because bucyrus was the bestfar ahead of every one. All cat machines are junk now i run them on pipelines dozers an hoes are junk

Caterpillar closed the museum and they have been busy running the South Milwaukee facility into the ground.
