In that case the unit have several problems. To tell you the truth LG MD62 is not repairable unit unless you are going to replace the mainboard, the boards are double sided, it uses digital audio too which is hard to trace the cause of the problem. I don't think so if you can follow the steps in troubleshooting. In my video the problem is no sound both left and right and it is just very easy to replace the audio ic, still trial an error is made to solve the problem.

There's a defective part/s that once getting hot after it was turning on, the defect comes in causing the audio to disappear. Most likely voltage regulator/s.

The first time I have been ordering the said IC I was so dispointed because I received the wrong one but the part number is just the same. It is better you have the original one as reference.

Check the supply voltage for the display may be bulging filter capacitor or open resistor supplying the display. If no sound trace the audio signal output coming from the mcu before reaching the audio ic if the signal is there then you have a bad audio ic, but if no audio signal coming from the mcu then the problem is on the mcu.
Idol maybe you have some pic where to test resistor and capacitor supply power of display for LG DD62 i am not electronic technician itis my hobby to learn i have a little knowledge in basic electronics reading electronics enthusiast thank you idol.

At first I am also struggling in repairing this unit due to the double sided board that was being used, the space and you can't test the unit if some boards are not connected. That is why I am telling you that this unit is not repairable. The only easy way here is to replace the audio ic because it is just in the corner like what I did. But maybe for other problems of this unit I can no longer repair it.

Check first if the supply voltage for the display is present. If the supply is present your display is bad.

Simpleng amplifier lang yan, depende sa gusto mo malaki ba o maliit na amplifier. Sa akin ay 10w amplifier lang.
