My research tells me it is to protect them from the sun. The white paint reflects the suns rays and protects the bark. Kind of like sunscreen for trees. Who knew?? Thanks for watching ❤

Great video! Question...is there a reason the bases of all the trees port side are painted white? Is it just for aesthetics?
