Nope. I have other inspiration. Mine is Clothilde. But could have been Neustrie (Neustria). Sadly, I see that neither are on the list.
My female cat friend is Iita Aalperi (like Ida Aalberg, who was a Finnish actress)
We have two ginger queens, Liten & Litleo (names of fire pokemon).
We also have two tabbies, Pecan & Walnut - so called for the distinct linear patterns in their fur when they were kittens.
I like Benedictus. Several others were also attractive, but I don't think my wife will authorize adding any more cats to the household at this time.
I have four new kittens that were born this past November. One of which is named Ivy. The funny thing is, I named her that way before I saw this video. 😅 Also once had a cat named Iris. She's passed away now, but she was a beautiful tortoiseshell cat.
I have a pair of Siamese cats , a male and female . I picked Roman names , the female is Octavia , the male Agrippa . It fits the look .
We named our Siamese girl Kikola Purrl. Then there was Stormy whom we rescued during a ferocious storm (tornado sirens were going off). Sometimes the cat's personality and characteristics make it easy" Mouse didn't meow, she squeaked 🙂 I love that the names in this video included their original and meanings! Happy New Year to all who share their homes with these wonderful creatures!
Keeker, my little tabby who based on her meows, should be renamed Squeaker.

My female cats have been named Cherona, Cherena, Leppard, Midnight, Sheherazade, Pasha and Ambrosia. No one can beat these names!!!

I have had two American Russian Blues, first one was name Smokey and second one is solstice. Both cats look a lot alike, they fit both females perfectly.

If/when I get a new cat, I'm going to re-watch all of these videos for ideas 😸 I still have my buddy who's 18 or so (found him on the streets) and he's still going, I'm taking him to the vet monthly for pain management and such. 🥰

If it wasn't on I would have never noticed except for the name on the screen. That's when I backed it up and listened a little closer! I hate being one of "those" guys that points out stuff. I just thought about the name Perspephone, more specifically the bringer of death part and female and male cats do bring death open mice,birds, and other smaller animals, so that can be true.

But when 8 named her 8 disnt know she's a female😂😂😂😂😂😂... , Dumpling ( coz whwn o found this little baby atta ked by a tomcat, the dr asked me if ive named hwr as had to put it on her xray. Seeing her that she was so little like a dumpling, I named her after that 😂!
N laatly 8 have Mahakaal ( one of the names for lord Shiva which means Huge big darkness, so black). Its a male name , but again when i found this little black furball, she was so little, i cudnt get to know her gender...so mahakaal till i got to know shes a mahakaali 😅...
My females are usually a version of Sabrina, they’ve all been Siamese.
I had a black kitten I named Onyx, who was 6 weeks then. At the time, my resident cat Ruby was pregnant at the time and Onyx was "stealing" the milk from the baby kittens, so I had her rehomed. The new owners renamed her Zuri.

For a reason I cannot explain, my last 5 cats' names all start with a P. My current two are Penelope (Penny) and Phoebe. Both ancient Greek origin.
