"Blood Meridian" is a novel written by Cormac McCarthy and published in 1985. Set in the mid-19th century, the story follows a nameless protagonist referred to as "the Kid" as he ventures through the violent and brutal landscapes of the American West and Mexico. The novel is known for its stark prose, philosophical undertones, and unflinching depiction of violence. The Kid joins a scalp-hunting expedition led by the enigmatic and malevolent Judge Holden, a figure of immense intellect and cruelty. "Blood Meridian" explores themes of existentialism, the nature of evil, and the inherent violence in human nature. It has received critical acclaim for its literary prowess, but it is also noted for its challenging and intense narrative, making it a powerful and thought-provoking work in American literature. - Розваги

I never Will believe that I can read this book in my head better than this narrator.
Incredible story, the judge was one of the best and most terrifying characters I've read about. He stole the show every time he appeared. Thanks for the upload!
Thank you for this audio 🙏
I thought I'd be able to read this in my head but that was quite the mistake, listening was definitely a help to understanding the book better as I followed along.

This book has me utterly mesmerized.. I don’t even know if that’s something one is supposed to say out loud. For all the judges faults, he has a logical grasp that can answer most questions, even poetically.
“He never sleeps, he’s says that he will never die”
Jesus Christ that’s a bleak ending
