    Thank you so much for your tutorial. 2 questions, 1: can I put these on the side of a cake with just the buttercream I don’t want to cover the entire cake with fondant, only the panels. 2: Can I make these panels a day ahead of time then put them on the following day when I decorate my cake. Thank you!

    • @Cherrycakeco
      @Cherrycakeco  5 років тому

      Sure! You can put them on with buttercream, just make sure they are set firm, they are totally fine to make the day ahead! x

    I love this effect! Did you continue to repeat the process for each panel? Or did you make one long strip? Thanks Tracy x

    Hello! I really love watching you tutorials, I did a version of this cake a month ago and came out really good. But my blue was not quite a nice as I would have liked. Would you mind sharing the colour blue that you used on the board.

      Thanks!
      I can't remember if I airbrushed it or covered it with paste! haha. If I airbrushed it, it would have been Kroma blue and black mixed together. If it was paste it would have been Renshaws Navy coloured paste xx

      Yes in the US cornstarch is a fine white powder …our fine white powder here is called cornflour :)
      But I believe the US corn flour is something else entirely 😂 it can get confusing!
