I'm a fan of Hanna Karlzon and own several of her books. I was super excited to see a flip through of this Tales from Atlantis since I own From the Witches Cottage and The City Among the Stars in this series. But, after seeing this flip through I was not wowed like I have been with her other books. I guess I was expecting more spreads of ocean life than individual portraits of people and shells. I thought this book would have more story telling with movement in the illustrations. This is just my opinion. Thanks for sharing her new book.
Thank you for sharing your opinion, Sapphire. 🥰 I've had the same thought at first sight so I understand you very well. But then I flipped through the book a second and a third time, and I saw that the pages make our choice wider : there are lots of scenes that we can choose to make underwater, or galactic, or whatever we want. The book has a dramatic hint that we can explore. I can't wait to begin! 🌊🏛💦

Très bel album, mais encore trop de visages féminins en gros plan ( mais c'est mon avis personnel 😔). Le papier est- il de Boone qualité ?Bons coloriages.😊

😅coucou Barbara 😘 Merci pour cette superbe presentation sur cet album. Je n'ai aucun HK, car je debute et aussi, ses portraits me font un peu peur, les ombrages sur le visage et les motifs... Après, il y a des illustrations que j'aime beaucoup et d'autres un peu moins. Pour l'instant, c'est trop chargé pour moi, je m'exerce avec des dessins moins compliqués 😊 Je te souhaite une belle journée et prends soin de toi. A bientôt. Bisous 😘

So beautiful. Thank you so much! May i asked do you think the paper in the Swedish and English editions is very different? Also I have heard the Dutch editions have incredible paper- the thickest and best apparently. Have you tried it? Thank you so much again
The paper in the Swedish and English edition are equivalent (I have both). Both have a very good paper. The Mus edition (Dutch publisher) is even better, but unfortunately I think that Hanna Karlzon doesn't work with them anymore since printing issues with Midnight Masquerade.
@@BarbaraColour thank you so much Barbara. You may be happy to hear that Mus editions are still being made and apparently they did reprint the midnight masquerade so it is correct ( but there still could be a few of the bad issues floating around) ☺️

je vais sûrement détonner ds le monde des "coloristes" mais je n'ai aucune émotion ,ni envie de mettre en couleurs les dessins d'A.K ,suis-je la seule ?
Le plus important est que tu colories des images qui t'inspirent. Choisis les livres qui te font vibrer ! Les vidéos flip through sont là justement pour t'aider à choisir tes livres.

Je vais retenté avec un livre qu’elle a fais sur les sorcières et encore je sais pas si je vais y arrive . J’ai beaucoup de mal avec sa pâte graphique
je n'ai que peu de livre (moyen limité) mais j'ai regardé les vidéos de présentation avant d'acheter ,merci à celles qui les font . J'ai le menuet du bonheur de Kanoko Egusa ,un Chris Vogl et Luna de M.Tolle . Je colorie depuis peu et j'ai bcp appris en regarder les tutos .Mettre en couleur est plaisir !
