The fact that he is hitting the minions as much as azir means the wave stays in the middle of the lane. Since its not under Sylas' tower, he doesnt have to farm minions and since its not under Azir's tower, he doesnt have to worry about tower agro. This means he can trade on Azir.

In low elo especially if u are a top laner you can abuse the fact ur opponent is clueless and you can freeze his wave under ur tower for 20 minutes so that he ‘s either exposed to jungle pressure or he goes 60 cs behind . Just remember to equalize your minions with his minions and that to keep a push you need either a cannon or 4 casters . In high elo smart junglers will help especially top lane to push the wave letting him to reset . U can do it mid too in ranged vs ranged or melee vs melee bot is way harder . Trading is especially important for adcs and mages the concept is 1 minions have an aggro range , u can abuse it by attacking and going istantly out of their range ( bushes can reset aggro too ) , 2 dodge his abilities > hitting yours 3 contest his csing which mean poke when he’s going for a last hit. League at a basic notion level isn’t hard at all whats hard is having hands even though the game offers a lot of options or even roles where you don’t even need hands
So you gotta remember these videos are an overanalysis. From getting high elo in a couple wack-ass games, you don't really think about what you're doing as you do it, bc all this is second nature to you.

I often Play Malz and Xerath mid and find myself pretty often against Sylas. His Gap closing abilities are Something to be reconed with. Mainly i let him Push me under my Tower and wait for Help from my jungler.
ok but kassadin suck you need to upgrade you w on this matchup, sylas never wins lv1 trade if you do that, and you snowball this trade to the intire lane fhase
he always getting ganks 1st, if enemy gank help taliyah he woukd be fked ...i winning mid 8/10 games but last 5games enemy jungle top and supp came mid .. my jng 0 drakes, ganks, crabs etc so
Just hating to hate. It shows what his idea was like clearing minions out of the way or baiting an ability. Even if he misses the ability, if he did that 3 more times chances are it will work at least once, nothing ever goes perfect in a competitive game like league
