- Learn about why the incredibly fun and inspiring Geoshred is the next music app you need to check out on your iPad.
The talented @JordanRudessKeys created this app with his team, and I must say, this is some of the most fun you can have on making music on the iPad.
Literally pick up and play!

This is on my app wish list!
GeoShred is one of my go to apps for Swam Instruments! I love the presets too.
You should try Blue Mangoo IFretless Bass, Sax, and Trumpets. They are all extremely hands on and sound fantastic. I use them all the time.
Auto changes octaves for you as you play up or down the scale. Handy for fast segments or one handed play.
Doesn’t always work the way I want it to though
its sort of like a software linnstrument sort of just with a sort of half MPE.
How you connect the iPad for live situations? In my older iPad I connect a 1/4 cable to the interface, but the iPad Pro don’t haven’t.
Thanks 🙏
For my next video, I will be sure to use a nose trimmer beforehand lol
Is this one of those things where you can never play a wrong note no matter where you touch the screen?
Kinda! From what I remember they are arranged as part of a scale. Also! No such thing as wrong notes! Lol
So is this app essentially mimicking a string based instrument like a guitar, but you can load in violin, flute, piano, etc? Are there any synthesizers or synth sounds? Roland, Korg, Moog, etc?
Pretty much! There are some cool synth sounds on there
can this be midi controlled or automated ?
im not entirely sure! I would say, probably
