I have been here for 25+ years. "Do what a rome do in rome" If you are complaining and does not have patience how can you expect doc to have patience with you. You have health insurance and treatment is taken care of., Please do not expect empathy all the time. I did not see your full video. You have a choice to deliver the child in India or here...This is Amrika not India. Please do not impose Indian rules here and justify. No offence meant but think outside the box. I had my delivery last year ,medical city Plano . Plano Women healthcare’s There the staff n my doctor Adrienne Feltman was just Amazing .She referred me to Dr Stewart for some concerns as well .He seemed to be nice and on time with us. May be we were lucky to have a good day. I know what u guys have felt but my gynac was superb.Despite of getting late so many time they never refused to see and gave us plenty of time for even small concerns . Even during labour the nurses were just amazing. But i know some of my friends who had really bad experiences as well. But i so wish ur smooth delivery and good health

Waiting to India me bhi hota hai. We hardly see the doctor at scheduled appointment time. Thats ok coz some patients may need more consultation time..and doctors always address all queries. But ya we surely get to consult the doctor on scheduled appointment day..not turned away. But we make it a point to call n inform when running late or stuck in traffic

Aajkal Indian doctors bhi bahar kay doctors ko copy karnsy lagey hai...woh bhi bigad tahey hai n hv become totally money minded. Ek patient kintabiyat jyada kharab thi but i heard doctor say...bolonusko wait karey, msin kya karu n he continued giving online consultation which he could hv delayed easily by 15 min n instead treated the patient who was suffering so much.
I was so shocked as the doctor was quite reputed one in noida n known to be caring n good. Msybe he was angry on something that day n had foul mood.
Some Indian docs can perform surgery on dead humans too 😢and charge a huge bill.

Everything said and done, it is very important to have a doctor who understands the patient's physical and mental stress. The doctor should have empathy, which is very important for a patient. Please change doctor as lady needs to a doctor who is very empathetic during delivery and post as well atleast for some more time.
We always call up and give the doctor clinic heads up if we are getting late. Also since this was a pregnancy related appointment must plan in such a way to reach 15 minutes before the appointment time.
Rajat bhai esse time par risk lena sahi nahi hai aap kisi dusre doctor se consult kar lo or ho sake to kisi Indian doctor se hi delivery tak poora treatment lena. Yaar Free me check-up thodi na kar rahe hain bhai har chij ki fees lete hain fir kisi ki bhi itni baat sunne ki jarurat kya hai. Inko kisi ne bataya nahi ki appointment ka matlab hi time fix karna hota hai. Appointment fix hone ke baad dono side me se koi bhi late nahi ho sakta atleast India law to yahi kehta hai.
Mujhe USA ka pta nahi but yaha India me Appointment isliye liya jata hai because yaha rush jada hota hai or uske alawa doctor's ke operations wagerah ka bhi scene rehta hai to unke pass bhi limited time hi hota hai. Esse me 15 se 20 minute ka appointment doctor khud apni time adjustment ke hisaab se petient ko dete hain. Taki patient ko bhi problem na ho or doctor bhi apne time ke hisaab se apna schedule bana sake. Baki agar koi 10-15 minute late ho bhi jaye to essi koi problem nahi hoti doctor's check kar lete hain.
But america me to naye hi natak dekhne ko mil rahe hain ki 15 minute bhi late ho gaye to dekhenge hi nahi kal aana essa thodi hota hai.
Bhai baki kisi chij ka appointment next day adjust ho sakta hai but medical ek essi feild hai jaha doctor ko hi adjust karna padega patient ki problem appointment dekh kar thodi na hogi woh to kabhi bhi ho sakti hai. America ko apne medical rules change karne ki jarurat hai. Yahi wajah hai ki poori duniya se log India aake treatment karwana pasand karte hain because yaha ek to ilaaj sasta hai second patient's ka care Indian's jaisa koi nahi kar sakta.
Well not every provider or staff is rude. We work non stop to provide good patient care. FYI gyn is very busy practice. We see more than 90 plus patients which doesn’t include ER visit. So I appreciate if you don’t spoil provider name.
Agreed, every provider is not like that. If a provider is busy and wasting patient's time then they are taking more patients than they can handle. Why is it ok to waste patient's time but not vice versa?
In case when you are running late by more than 10 mins, just give them a call right away that you are getting late and blah blah. It works every time for me. They never deny.

Do write this in a review after you find another doctor. The Doctors have become quite arrogant. I always try to get to Doctor’s office 15-20 mins early. But you should try calling them that you are stuck in traffic. Something tells me this Doctor’s practice is arrogant and they won’t care. There is a shortage of Doctors. So they book 2-3 patients at the same time. Good Doctors are hard to find.
Both the things r different.In flight there r other passengers also so flight cannot wait for one person but In hospitals and clinics doctors can continue with their treatment with other patients and then they can attend people who have come late.@@SubhajitMukherjee-yo6xt

Its the same in Canada - have had to wait for more than 45 mins after appointment - then the doctor visits you in the patient room after 30 mins - the staff does not care either.

We have never had problems here in Australia, we are on time, and have to sometimes wait for more than 30 minutes, got used to it. We don't pay anything, Government Medical system takes care of everything.

This is what happened with me with Suchi desai this week after so many arguments I have changed my doctor . In your case doctor gave you another appointment but in my case the doctor didn’t come only a nurse came and saw me without any explanation
Hi Rajat congrats first on your upcoming new addition I am silent viewer of your vlogs I am kinda of upset looking at you and your wife reaction first as physicians are busy taking care of patients who could be more sick than other or have emergent medical condition going on , in America even people who clean your house show up 15 mins ahead of time in your driveway when I was pregnant I tried to make sure to leave early from work to be on time for my appts but still at times I would be 1 or so mins late there are pregnant mothers coming 20 mins early for their appt please donot ask other to comment bad for your gynecologist as he would not have provided medical care to them there is more to story that we donot know in this situation American medical system is one of the best in world it has lots of cons too and those need to be fixed just like any system if you are 15 mins late for your appt your doctor will have next patient on his schedule that is how their schedules are designed try to solve this situation with drs office empathically and apologize for your mistake you need to have good relationship with your physician Dr Stewart has not denied medical care to your wife that is wrong statement please stop using such negative comments and donot propagate anger or hate toward doctors through your blogs

4. They always waste our time even when we are before time, so why is it a big deal when we asked them to see us after 15-20 minutes?
Medical is best but not this system. Dr denied the care. We don't need to have good relationship with the dr, it is their job to see us as this is what we are paying for. Thank you, have a good day

I am within my rights of freedom of speech. I can talk and give opinion on anything. Don't need your gyan. If you don't have anything good to say then move on, something you should have learnt when you were a child.

Since we were never late for appointments and were their even 30 minutes before our appointment, we never had to deal with this mess. American medical system is the best in the world and Yes I am from India and my family is their so my mother passed away from cancer and I have dealt h with Indian medical system for 2 years. All it was if you know some influential personality you get treated very differently than a common person. I m a Canadian citizen. Nowadays I m in USA for some reason. What I observed here is that Canadians r more compassionate and polite . People r rude and unhappy here. Wish to go back as soon as possible.
In America it is, even I was denied for checkup by doctor who is Indian. Same case we had to drive 45 and we're 10 minutes late. From then we are reaching early or in time. It's better to reach earlier, as working system for doctors here is very different.

Shilp, if you can you should change your GYnaec, as you can, as long as its the same network, since this is their attitude now , imagine close to your delivery time!
Despite designated appointments booking time even days ahead here in North America , same story in walk-in clinics- waiting times vary upto 1+ hour or more. Defeats the very purpose of booking appointments. Doctors leisurely walk in late. No explanation required.

For appointments they have to check you in on time. Since Doctors have unexpected emergencies they have to deal with on daily basis( since their days are not same everyday) . Those emergencies appointments can cause little longer wait in waiting room for their expected appointments. And NO Sir they don’t get paid to pick their noses in back room just because they cancel your appointment since you were late by 15 minutes.

I am assuming the clinic is probably charging y'all or your insurance for no show. Thats why they have strict policy. You could try Dr. Shuchi desai. Very professional and great bedside manners. It might be difficult to change now, and she might not be in your network. But you could consider her later. I have changed 3 obs so far, and getting a good ob with good staff is not easy.

Bhai India hi chale jaao aap. Literally India mein to har baar at least ek ghanta wait karna padta hai even after taking appointment. There is no meaning of an appointment in India 😅.
Also, perhaps this particular doctor isn’t professional if they didn’t notify you about their absence last time before you went. I have never had such experience here in more than a decade or living here. But India ke doctors on the other hand ….opposite experience in short 🤐

You can not compare Indian medical system to US, it’s totally 2 different systems. And it’s mostly every dr office policy that they have only 10-15 mins max grace time. You can not just put full blame on dr. It’s just you had one time bad experience
