Worth mentioning and important to this build: There's an interesting synergy between Atonement Fold and the Corrupted Savior. The mod power for the gun drains away after 2 seconds if you don't inflict damage but the damage doesn't need to come from the gun itself. Since you're constantly damaging yourself with the ring, you don't lose mod power.
I use Hardcore Metal Band instead of Gunslingers as you already have plenty of crit and the free 5 stacks of Bulwark are nice. Then replace the Crit Chance on the Relic for a RoF mod or something for more damage.
I suggest the neckbone Necklace for flat 25% damage Bleed ring has 10% crit + 5%x2 from classes + 10% from Dagon heart + 15% from hunters mark + a full stack of the crit mod 30% = a total of 85% crit, I personally run also the hardcore metal ring while having the bleed ring to get 5 stacks of bulwark and maybe useing the clay ring to get 15% more damage from the bulwark stacks To counter bleed you need to put 10 points in the medic skill and 10 points in the friendly fire skill because the bleed counts as friendly fire. Ad the hp regen heart and the hp regen Rind when someone is bleeding nearby, then you have a 6-8 hp regen when you need survivability
You don't even need kinship trait for the bleed it doesn't do anywhere near enough to add up on your health bar. It's only 1.1 damage per sec and if you running tranquil heart that's 2 per second so you are losing health even without using the relic I don't lose hp never ran kinship either
Made my own with hunter/challenger. We cut some damage for some survivability and it still hits 7.8k dps in the range on average and a 8.6k peak. We have to do relic, melee and mod buffing, though. So there is a small setup to perform. Nothing too crazy and complicated, though. And on that note, if you are using a build that required some setup: make sure to apply buffs in the right order. Do anything that buffs damage first and then the stuff that actually applies damage. The optimal way for my setup is using the relic, activating both skills, trigger the rune pistol mod, throw the axe, shoot the rune pistol for bleed proc and then hit them with the savior. (Sounds more complicated than it is and is still less intrusive than throwing consumables and stacking potions. Plus, you dont need to do all of it since the damage is amazing anyway. Full combo is only needed when you want to really delete stuff)
Interesting note, the mythic weak spot damage fragment does no significant additional damage over mythic ranged damage on this build. I did substitute Hardcore Metal Band for Gunslinger's Ring for survivability. With either mythic fragment, weak spot crits top out at 503 without Hunter's Focus. With Hunter's Focus active, it's 635 for mythic weakspot and 633 for mythic ranged. So, it seems mythic ranged is a better choice unless you hit weakspots with 100% of your shots, and, even if you do, the advantage isn't significant.
And since a lot of bosses don't even have a weak spot it (mythic ranged DMG) makes a little bit more sense. I think in remnant 1 the build for the gun was: gunslinger amulet, braided thorns, devouring loop (for bosses with a weak spot) or burden of the gambler (for bosses without a weak spot)
FINALLY we got the Real Fusion Rifle since the "Savior" rifle failed to scratch that itch from Remnant: from the ashes. Its definitely a weapon worth doing Hardcore for now.
I’ve tried to beat Hardcore Veteran three times and I always die in Nruid, I want to get the Corrupted Savior but I’m just not able to beat Hardcore Veteran.
What console do you play on? An easy way to "cheese" the dofficulty a bit is to upload your characters save data to the cloud save and periodically upload a save if you beat some minor bosses or just before the world boss, that way you dont lose all your progress and start from scratch again. And if you have a friend its even easier since even if 1 of you dies you can revive eachother at the nearest world stone.
@@tobiasrex8052 I’m on Xbox and I did try a run with a friend, we died to Abomination, he was at the crystal and I got the boss down to a few hits and he went in after I died and died as well, also how do I do that cloud thing?
@McJaggi well im not sure how it's done exactly on Xbox (im sure theres a tutorial or google search to find out), but for ps5 while you're on the application dashboard showing your recently played games, while over Remnant 2 press the options button and select where it saves upload save, and it'll take you to the cloud save menu and you just do that. Idk if Xbox has an option turned on already called somewhat like "automatic cloud save upload", but be sure to turn that off so it doesn't overwrite it for you when you die.
@@tobiasrex8052 ok thank you. Before I google it I’ll try viewing “manage game & add ons” then “save data” I believe it may be there on the Remnant 2 application.
So it's basically a hitscan Monarch without the autoaim? Guess it's the better choice if you can hit your shots, but monarch has a ton more ease of use. Both setups have similar builds and damage profiles, right?
Sick build man. I think for bosses without a weakspot you should not use hunter. Without a weakspot, you can't extend the duration of the hunter skill. Challenger or handler would be better I think.
I felt he should've swapped the prime perk for the Gunslinger class since if you use a skill, it gives unlimited ammo when you reload for a brief moment.
Usually I would run thousand cuts. Momentum is also quite good as well. Now that is for ranged damage. If you want mod damage then something like feedback or harmonizer could be good.
It is, but if you wanna cheese the difficulty a bit on console just upload your save file to the cloud after every boss or 2 so you dont start from scratch every time you do end up dying, and bring a friend since as long as 1 of you is left alive you can revive at the nearest world stone.
@@tobiasrex8052 Yeah well i will not start another charavrer drom scratch on hardcore. If i wpuld keep the gear unlocked on the account, i would. But starting from zero with no build? Not interested. I dont care for the gun or that ring everyone use.
@celuiquipeut6527 your greatest weapon when doing a fresh character is your experience with the game, the guns you unlocked from completing the harder difficulties, and the amulets/rings you unlocked (black cat ring, Leto's Amulet etc). But again it is optional and there's no trophy for doing so. It's a bragging rights thing
I wouldn’t say OP, usable for sure, but other weapons are just better for damage. Savior is better for damage per shot for instance. Corrupted savior is good if u working on a crit build. It’s one of the best guns for that. But overall damage? I’ve seen better, fun gun tho
8:15 How did you do that skip into Sentinel?? Is there a trick to it? I unfortunately can't find anything about it online Is it still doable? or did it get fixed?
Yes you can still do it. It can be kind of tricky but you basically need to jump off the corner there and land in a specific spot. Hard to explain really as you know when you get it. But it is possible pretty much no matter what. But takes some time to do occasionally.

Now if only I could get my hands on the Savior to begin with
I like doing three pieces crimson guard and the elder helmet
it comes in at 49.9 weight and looks pretty good to boot
There's like ten videos of this gun with identical builds. I think we all had the same idea when this weapon dropped.
