For this project, I used 80amp contractors. We don't have to care about the rating of control devices because we don't use them directly on load. In case it is less or more,
Sir what if i just use a single contactor and a single phase failure, can it work ,i just pass all the three phases on one contractor and then i do the three phase connection on the phase failure relay, will it do the same function???
Let's understand something here if you have a 3phase load only that's perfectly fine, what if you have both 3 and single-phase loads in your installation if one phase is missing the 3phase load be off and protected by the 3phase phase failure you installed, but what about the single-phase load? will you be ok if your single-phase load is off too even if you have a healthy phase available? if not then my explanation in my circuit works fine.
@jeffersonmusyoki8554 that depent on what kind of load your dealing with, in your case if 1phase detects ov/uv all phases will be shutdown regardless. my equipment however can use 3,2 and 1phase thats why i connected ov/uv relay on 2 phases. Thanks for watching though.
Great concept but the circuit is unnecessarily expensive. With proper calculations, you should be able to install the circuitry with only one contactor and a phase monitor without a timer. Anyway, congrats.
I suggest Yu have a class for electrical lessons, yu can help so many students...
Your work is 100% perfect.
Thank you, will think about that.
@@electreca1I would like to join electreca, how much will Yu charge me?
Great job!
Thanks for the visit
Dont get it ulnless its to do with power sharing tha goes on ove there ?
Nice!
Well explain. Thank you
Great job. Pls why is the yellow phase left out.
It was left out to save money but also picked the most healthy phases out of the 3. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing .you made the video easy to umderstand
Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching.
Good lessons but what is the size of the contactor, timer and other devices in this circuit

Thanks David. Great work.
You didnt share the schematic of the control circuit. Please do...
Thanks
Thanks for watching, i will add a link in few.
Nice work ,thankyou
Welcome 👍Thanks for watching.
The monitor has a delay timer inbuilt! why external timer?
Nice but too short, good work
Kindly also asking for the circuit diagram
Will share
Was it power that flow or voltage?..
Current flows
I will like to be with you so that I can understand these things More, I like you work
When doing connections plz go abit slow for better clarity en understanding.. anyway you're doing a great work
I will try to slow down for the next video, thanks for watching.
thankful
Thanks for watching.

Why not use a 3P +N phase failure,OV/UN monitoring relay ...a timer and a 3pole single contactor rather than two each coz of cost..

Yoo that's Terrence Crawford
