Trade workers and essential workers shouldn’t be taxed higher rates once they earn over basic income amount and increases when income levels rise above additional amounts whereas my husband is a concrete finisher and his income last yr was tax deductions for 48% of his total income. It costs him $40 daily to get to and from work plus packing lunches etc which don’t be considered….. as expenses. From the 54k tax deductions he only received $7800 back when filed taxes.
How do ppl on welfare get tax refunds when they don’t contribute to paying any taxes and live off taxpayers money??
I have friends who own their own fishing boats which are worth over $2 million alone and then their fishing gear isn’t cheap also. These ppl have yr round expenses to upkeep these boats then dry dock fees during winters. Now if they decide to retire and sell their investments they gonna be slammed massively on their assets….
If I want to gift equity anything to my kids in the future and worth over $250k that’s gonna get nailed with capital gain taxes???? Something we paid taxes and more likely interest rate costs throughout my lifetime and now govt gonna apply this 67% tax rate on top of it.
Govt should try reducing taxes that’s deducted from earnings and only increase tax rates once hitting $250k annually.

Govt should try investigating how whenever anyone has insurance and goes to pharmacy or dentist, or needing glasses as soon as they hear you have insurance then the costs increase compared to if your pay out of pocket costs??? It’s a fact I experienced when attending a dentist. Quote for having a tooth pulled was nearly half price compared to if they processed through our insurance policy! This should be illegal
