Crash on SR-702 Near Yelm Claims Two Lives

Yelm, Wash. - Sadly per Washington State Patrol this is now a double fatality collision.
We are sad to report that a young juvenile female, under the age of 10, and the adult female driver in the sedan passed away from their injuries.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
Right now, Troopers are still investigating how this tragic collision occurred to start the new year.
No criminal elements are suspected at this time.
Further information from WSP suggests weather and the sedan having a tape/plastic window might have caused the female driver to cross SR-702 directly into the path of the pickup.
Witnesses state the sedan just pulled out in front of the pickup, who was driving at around the 55mph speed limit, leaving them no time to react.
We are slowly adding old footage onto UA-cam with old footage being scheduled for release everyday and Major incidents being premiered within 48 hours.
