Farleigh VMXDN British EVO Challenge Race 2- Cagiva WMX 125

Forgot to turn the petrol on! Engine died just before 30 second board went up. Started just as the 5 second board turned- panic! Better start but it all went wrong up the steps on lap 1. Restarted around 1/2 lap behind, charged up to 22nd.

Yikes, my first race in summer '81 in West Berlin, Germany. Got around the first corner , flew off a jump and landed on a fallen rider. Got the fins from a KTM in the stomach. It hurt !!!
