I just did this for the first time this weekend, but it was so great. I tend to plan my week and space out my to-do's/errands on Sunday evening. Usually I stop there, but this time I started knocking out a bunch of the to-do's ahead of time. Paid some bills/inputted expenses/sent some emails. Then I went in and checked those things off. It felt so good going into Monday knowing I had already finished 5 tasks I had meant to do that day.

I totally feel you about feeling demotivated Monday - Wednesday. I’m always so moody on those days! It’s Tuesday lunchtime right now and I’m trying to get motivated for the afternoon. Your video is helping! :)
I love your transparency! The beginning of the work week can be a downer lol. I agree about getting out of bed asap and finding things to be excited for. I haven't started reading Colleen Hoover yet bc I have to be in the right mood to read romance books bc I get bored sometimes lol so its good to hear your thoughts

Feeling the motivation struggle, especially early in the week so this was very timely. Daylight savings has us back in the dark when I get up and it is soo hard. Need to try just jumping out of bed before I rationalize snoozing lol.

If you want to read a Colleen hoover book but you don’t want a graphic one, I would recommend ‘Reminders of Him’ or ‘It ends with us’ 👍🏻😁

Ugly Love is definitely her most graphic book! Not a great one to start off with. I recommend Reminders of Him, Regretting You, or Heart Bones! All those books only have a couple graphic scenes.

RACHEL I totally agree. I'm not into the graphic "romance" in books as well. If you did a sit down video recommending your favorite books that don't have those scenes I would GREATLY appreciate it. I'm always struggling to find new exciting books that don't include the "smut" but unfortunately it feels like most books include it because a lot of people are into it.
I commented above, but you may like "The Family Journal" by Carolyn Brown. No smut at all, but still romance/adventure/drama/etc....

Yeah all her books are graphic, some of them in a bad way because it describes pretty intense scenes aside from love making… but the whole thing about her is that her books always, and I mean every single one of them, have a plot twist and an unexpected turn.

If you want a more "wholesome" but still really good book - read "The Family Journal" by Carolyn Brown. You won't regret it :)
About the book, yes many books that are hyped up it’s only because there is a a lot of sex in them and it’s GRAPHIC. And personally I do not enjoy that or care to read that. So most of the books that are hyped up you gotta check 😅

I've read CoHo's other books and they're not as graphic? I haven't read the books that made her viral so idk but Number 9 wasn't so bad. I've never read Ugly Love though but they say Verity's good!

Well... usually... if the love making is graphic, it'll stay that way all the way through. Of course it depends. 50 Shades isn't that graphic, but I've seen it descrbed as pornography. Still liked reading the books though. It's a beautiful love story, the graphic stuff don't change that.

To each his own of course. If it disturbs you enough to considering to stop reading it, you should. Then it's not your style and you'll probably end up missing a good part of the story.
