Hello ! I used your video in a multicam I made - is that okay if I make it public? You're credited at the end and in the description ! ua-cam.com/video/ygwBZsk-Nms/v-deo.html
It was a cool gig, visually incredible, props to the lighting/stage crew and the performers/dancers but I was disapointed with a couple of bits. The sound levels were so damn quiet and all the instruments had spots of being inaudable throughout. I barely heard a hi-hat all night. In fact I only heard things that sounded triggered like kick and snare. I Struggled to hear bass and guitar at times, usually because of the backing tracks. I do feel abit cheated in that 60% of the show is backing tracks, and not a whole deal of it is the band playing together as a band. It's the Matt Bellamy ego hour, where he hardly plays guitar/piano and is more at home posing to cameras and doing some Madonna esque show in the centre of the arena away from his backing band playing with prop gloves and singing to skulls in an 'oh look how artsy I want this to be' kind of way. To be honest it was a little underwhelming compared to the other shows I've been to, despite all the fancy bells and whistles. 5/10
I think a fair part of the backing music is done by Morgan but yes I understand your point. They've done that though, with Hullabaloo, Absolution Tour and Haarp. The audio sounded alright to me but I guess it depends on where abouts you were. When I saw them in London and was more over to the right hand side, quite a bit of audio segments struggled to come through. That's why some people choose to stand by the sound control pit I guess
@@tomwaters1721 I had a good time don't get me wrong but yeah I was miffed with a fair bit of it. Maybe it's down to nostalgia hyping something up, the sound, or this tours setlist but oh well. I'm still living in hope of a sit down residency of muse at say the Albert hall with an orchestra and but we can only dream. Ha
@@jred1775 well yes hearing things like exogenesis symphony in its entirety with a full orchestra would be rather amazing. And then having Matt on the organ for Megalomania and I'm still waiting to hear Piano Thing and Bedroom Acoustics but I know it'll never happen lol
mayo& bread Every concert you go, it will sound different, my friend sitting in the right side of the stadium said he you could mostly hear instruments and not the volume was so low. another friend of mine who was sitting in middle at the same concert, said everything was perfect af. I was right in front of Matt and I couldn’t hear everything well because of the drum’s kick. Every time Dom hit it, I could feel my heart moving if you now what I mean. About the Matt’s skull-madonna-ego thing part, Sim Theory tour seems like a story and the whole setlist is connected to it, I’m glad they tried something different with this tour.
Would be nice if we got the rarities like this in the states. We love you too, muse 🤷♀️💜
1:50 Goddamn this looks epic
Nice Video Tom. Thanks :)
