Milestones are good but definitely don't worry about the points too much. It'll come naturally as you level up your game. And you're doing fine. My comment to you about spacing traps might've got cooked because a phrase in there turned into a link but a good spacing trap for Ken to save meter is crouch mk at max range. And if they're playing overly defensive, you can throw in a fireball after mk to just chip away at more drive. It can be drive impacted so you gotta be careful but just to put pressure on the opponent to make a move in your favor it's worked for me. To lab those just set the opponent to block everything and have them throw out crouch MP or crouch MK after block. Wait to see it whiff then throw out your punish string. And you can test his other buttons like heavy punch and heavy kick too. See what buttons / blockstrings makes a character's best pokes whiff and it gets a lot easier. You got this!

You are in your own head. You're thinking about the points too much is making you play unlike yourself. There were a few matches on here where you played very abnormal just because you kept thinking about hitting 2300.
Also, why aren't you following up your EX fireballs with Drive Rush? That is literally a free get-in tool with Ken if they block or if it connects. What's the point of using two pips of bar if it's just a dick hair worth of damage? It's not like with Ryu where it knocks down the opponent And you use that time for a Denjinnerate Charge. I know you're not trying to waste drive bar meter, but if you're going to throw a ex you might as well throw in one more pip and get free pressure
this is true, i just learned about throwing an ex fireball after foward throw is great for ken. I can't get the timing down of trying to connect a normal from drive rush ex fireball. that shit is hard.
