I was a fan of her. But it was a dumb ass move to get in to a relationship in the office when prosecuting the former president in a state full of republicans. She sunk this. And she deserves the approbation.

Southern states are, with only one exception, Federal Tax welfare states.
Turn off the money tap. No more SSI. No more highway funds. No more airport, truck, or pipeline operations permitted.

Hey its Georgia! The appeals court members are 95% white people with one woman of color. Down South, if a black elected woman DA, has the slightest slip while she has a case going against powerful white people. It will be referred to the appeals court. There it will be shut down until they rule one way or another. They`ll just sit on it until after the Nov. elections. If the DA. was a white man, having done the same as Ms Willis and the defendants were Democrats, the case would not have been sent up tp the appellate court. It`s the Good-Ole-Boy network.
Sounds like our only option to hold Trump thoroughly accountable in November. And once we take back the House, expand control in the Senate, and retain the Whitehouse - while Trump rots in prison - we need to purge the judiciary of judges illegitimately appointed by a criminal president...a top-to-bottom reckoning for all of the corruption afflicting our country.
These people truly believe they are above the law - it's our job to make it clear they are not.

Both parties and the decision makers within the judiciary have not even mooted to debate for changes to be made to stop the corruption and ineptitude within the legal system. All of the lawmaker's heads are in the sand, so expect these disgraces to continue. An election won't stop it, the democrats are cowards.

Neither were married I believe they went on some dates and a few trips Before the trial.

Don't ever expect the Dems to not be feckless. The whole concept of the party is to act as a placeholder to prevent any party willing to represent the working class from coming to power. Disagree that it was a “lapse of judgement” on Fani’s part. Alito’s flying flags were a much much greater lapse of judgement, but no accountability there unless Dems take the house and senate.

Do you think DA Willis should proceed with the trial against the defendants who didn’t join in with the motion? At least that way, the public will get some answers about what went on & who was involved, and it’s televised. I know it may give the others a heads up but facts are facts & witnesses won’t be able to change their testimony in future cases without risking perjury charges. Better to get started now, surely?
I heard that Fani Willis was going to have to divide up the 19 defendants in small groups and try them that way anyway and it will let Donnie be of the last with letting him know what is coming for him and the outcome Donnie can look forward to.
@@bambiclark8861 Yeah, 19 defendants in the same proceedings would likely be a logistical nightmare. I can't imagine the jury having to listen to potentially 19 separate cross-examinations of every witness.
