yea there's a way to hard reset through holding the shutdown button together with the volume button, and after it shut downs leave only the volume key pressed and you enter device setting, you can move up and down with volume buttons and select with shutdown button, you can hard reset through there. good luck

Hi..my samsung tab 2 was updating its software then my husband accidentally turn off the internet connection and then the tablet shut down (by itself)..when he switch it on again something popped up like reformat or something..we dont know what to do..would you help me with it??

please could you advise me on why my Samsung tab 2 will not hard reset and comes up with a warning. it turns off every 2 mins and then just turns off so it can turn off again over and over again

What was the purpose of the update on the galaxy tab2 10.1 I lost my screenshot and my device will not turn off. Any suggestions? I guess I will lose all my data, pics and music geez this sux..again what did I gain? This update seems pointless to me

Hello, i have one GT-P5100. I had to open it to get an SD slot in the Sim, I assembly it again, but now only comes on and stays lit black screen. When connected to the PC, recognizes this, but the tablet shows nothing on the screen. I need help urgently!

When I click on "restore to factory settings" it says "delete Samsung's account first" (well it's my native language, but it basicly says this. I couldn't find out if it was about Google Play's account or whatever. Could you help ?

i set my tablet 2 10.1 using the power and volume button. I chose the resset to factory and reboot. However, When it reboot and the samsung icon comes on and stay that way all day. I tried to reset a few times. It still does the same thing. Could some one give me advice what to do next? Thanks
Done that. Mine just returns to the "Samsung GALAXY 2 10.1 Tab" screen, then cycles to "SAMSUNG", then cycles back to "Samsung GALAXY 2 10.1 Tab" - all the time. If I do get the "enter password" screen and enter my password, it just goes back to the above and continually goes round & round...............any ideas?
