I used to have this toy. Why did I give it up? It was so cool. I only played with it in one mode cuz that thing was WAY too complicated for a kid to transform.

I would do just about anything for a 1/6th scale vesrion. I used to have the old 80's 1/8th scale version and it was easily one of my favorite sets as a kid. I especially liked that it had diecast parts. Seeing it now it looks so much smaller than I remembered and all the new ones are even smaller. oh well, still an absolute masterpiece in concept and design. Thanx for sharing.
    Peace, Jay

@novaflo339 BEAGLE is the company that actually made the Ride-Armors and Toynami went in with them to cover productions costs, some where along the line Beagle blew it and no more Cyclones, There was a Prototype Rook at one Anime Show, Hopefully Toynami can get it and pick up where they left off. Yellow-Lancer & a Shinobu/Sue Graham version too!!

@tubernery Do you mind if I ask which specific Canon macro lens? I have literally watched this video over and over again because the photography is so crisp and the composition is fantastic. I love the background bokeh in all the shots!

Really superb quality video ! Now serious question: if you could choose free of charge between this and a vintage Gakken 1/8 in mint condition which would you choose?

While the level of detail and articulation are visually arresting and all, I never understood how the humans were supposed to be able to carry around a folded up MOTORCYCLE on their backs and shoulders, with just their legs to hold them up. It's awkward enough to carry around a 50 to 100 lb backpack. Fuhgetabout a motorcycle that weighs 500 to 1000 lb. Robotechnology, huh?

The shock absorbers transform to double as pistons to power the armor. They attach to the forearms and greaves and provide assistance.
For how crazy the concept might seem, the design is strangely logical.

Can someone help me out? When I was a little kid, and didn't even understand English I saw an animated movie on Super channel with one lone ranger having such a Cyclone bike, but don't remember the title. It was quite long movie, not an episode from a tv series. I even remember one big tree that had some importance in the story, but can't recall much else.
If this rings a bell for anyone who knows the title, I would appreciate if he could share it with me.
    Thanks.
