That’s fantastic he’s sending you such nice pieces to play with. I’ve had such terrible luck with USPS/UPS/FedEx I’m hesitant to send knives that are irreplaceable. Or at least, it might take years to replace. This knife is a beautifully made knife, and working with natural materials takes a special kind of skill to pull off seamlessly. Beautiful grinds, and that rub is miles deep! Very nice, had to comment on this one! (Usually watch on TV)
I'm impressed not just by the knife but by the sheath (or pouch?) When you say "custom" does that mean it was designed according to your specifications?
Not necessarily, alot of custom makers also make knives they themselves like and the put them up for auction or sale to anyone.you can often wait years to get on the books to have a completely made to your specific needs. ATB paddy.
