I found a nice dereverb plugin that should work with most daws and I think Audacity as well. Not naming brands but can keep someone from hiding in a closet. Audio cleanup is not too expensive with some other audio repair tools. Your primary room used here is very lively, and actually a little hard to listen to with good IEMs. Hard floor and walls a bit slappy.

Thanks so much for your feedback! I really appreciate hearing your thoughts. I use a derverb plugin called Supertone Clear, and it definitely has its moments where it can make a big difference.
From my experience, though, I find that plugins work best when they're combined with the quietest recording environment you can set up. No amount of post-production can truly match the quality of a clean initial recording. These tools can definitely help elevate 'OK' recordings, but they struggle to fix poor ones. That's why I always prioritize recording in a controlled space, like a closet, rather than relying too much on plugins in an echoey room. For me, it's more about enhancing a good recording rather than trying to salvage a difficult one.
I agree with you about the main room in my video (I assume you mean the one where I'm at the computer) it's definitely echoey, and that's something I'm always working to improve. Thanks again for your comment; I always love learning from these discussions!

@@chrisneilgreen i have to think the center aisle of a good clothing store could be a real good place to record with all the soft clothing around. The closet is also good if you can have hanging clothes all around.
