I'm glad to hear the band are taking a break and getting some time to focus on other aspects of their lives, instead of embarking on another tour, they're not the young lads they used to be. It also gives fans time to listen to True North and absorb it, without the pressure of buying tickets and travelling for concerts. Because when the band have rested for a spell they usually come back with something special for us fans.
Morten must preserve his beautiful voice. So precious !

Just coming back and listening to his voice. He has a great speaking voice too. You know what I think would be so cool? If him, Magne, and Pål did audio books as well as narrate documentaries. On any subjects they want. I would listen. How cool to have their voices like that? I do love listening to how they each talk with their each distinct tones and accents. ❤
TRUE NORTH: "I'm in" is the perfect song. It is amazing when you have all the love and belief from the person you love the most, who tends to your needs when you are suffering, so you can focus on your next breath. This is why I can still be here and present. So thanks A-HA for this beautiful song...... to the team, Pal, Mags and Morten ! Always a fan since "hunting high and low "and won't stop breathing! 👍

Just a listen to a song such as 'Out of the blue comes green' will show that 'Take on me' is a tiny part of what A-ha are. That was just the tip of the iceberg..they went deep. Good to hear a journalist say for a change that they're sick of it (Take on me).
Amen! I am tired of Take on Me too! Grateful for it is what got them noticed for sure. However, after hearing their treasure trove of amazing songs outside of that song, there’s no going back for me. He put it perfectly when he said there are two catalogs, Take on Me and then all their other songs. Exactly. ❤

Yes, I do agree with that. The Unplugged one is like a completely different song to me. It is more melancholy. It fits them so much better. I cry every time I hear it.❤

I agree re commenting on happiness. On the one hand, I am profoundly grateful and wonderous of being alive in such a beautiful universe, on a living planet, part of it and separate, mind-boggling beauty - and on the other, totally heartbroken at watching the destruction, carnage and brutality happening around us.
That's real Viking confidence for you, when Morten exclaims they WOULD still be talking even if aha never happened. He's an old Soul full of wisdom and certainly from within a dimension far higher than what we can see. His aura must light up like a Christmas tree 🎄 ❤

When you’re on your break will also save your vocal cords,as Morten giving them a work out in his journey full career,personally peppermint oil is my fix all when I get sick a full or half glass of water w/ a drop or two can help better than a lot of mouth washes. It’s my bottle of Dr.Good” Rarely has been too strong to use. As an avid singer so important to protect vocals.I just sing for fun,But to depend on singing as a career, hearing is also key.But I’m hoping that the Covid Morten’s been experiencing will take a hike and leave Morten alone 🧐As an old fan always loved the CDs when I’d crack a new one open 🎉🎶🌟👏👏👏Great to see him on the scene as he and his group do their projects.Deserving of standing ovations always ❤

Meu Deus! Pensando 💭 a quantas décadas A-Ha, faz shows pelo mundo, entrevistas, gravações, deve estar exausto. Morten, meu amado anjo, tem que dar um tempo, ter uma vida mais tranquila e, olhar pra sí, encontrar-se consigo mesmo, procurar saber se está satisfeito com o ritmo de vida que está vivendo ! Talvez haja momentos em que não se reconheça mais como um ser individual, tem que estar bem para fazer bem, não esquecer que há pessoas que o ama, além de nós, não pensar só em satisfazer a mídia, a prioridade é você, tem que se amar, respeitar seu corpo e mente, estar feliz consigo mesmo ser mais livre! Você é livre? não sei se está me entendendo. Love to hear real interviews like this. Not just talking about the 80’s and Morten’s looks. Actually talking to Morten like he is a real artist and like A-ha is a real band. Not like Morten is some heart throb and A-ha is a poppy boy band. Intelligent conversation too. Love it!❤
