Probably has something to do with export fees and taxes that shot will want to recoup after paying said taxes. I think Shot are based in New Zealand and if I remember rightly their darts are all made in house effectively....no Chinese low paid labour. Usually when a product is cheap especially in darts it's likely because workers are being grossly underpaid and that is a huge reason why chinese products are cheap. My opinion is that Shot should have a headquarters in central Europe, fees would be lower anyway.
@@jacobliambell Yeah I have some Buntz v2 from Shot, their barrels are made in New Zealand. So the final dart is packaged there too, so will add to the cost. When you consider the Target darts are made in China and charge more... They don't see so bad value. But... Darts made in the UK by Retriever are great quality and a fraction of the cost.
