I’m a Parker pen collector ; mostly fountain pens, and the Parker Premier fountain pens are absolute works of art. Don’t be mistaken: Parker produced some awful models, especially the Parker 25 range . I’ve got about 15 Premiers in my collection It’s a shame that the younger generation don’t use Fountain pens to the extent I did. At full speed I could write u to 15 sides of A4 paper fine lined narration per hour. The friction is so low on a well used medium nib that one’s wrist does not tire as compared to ball points. I used one of my chinese lacque Parker premiers so extensively for 7 straight years in medical school that I could see the metal of the nob wearing away , but it wrote even better as the nib “ bedded in”.
Great to hear experience like yours . Parker old fountain pen are great, newer specially lower ranges are not smoothened enough to attract young generation, but as you use them on regularly they starts to be smoother

Parker pens ( luxor)are good, but not smooth as I want. So I prefer Indian pens like click, beena, kanwrite. They offer better inkflow and wet writing at the same price. Sir plz make a video on click tulip (non - demonstrator)

The quality check needs to be better with Parker fountain pens in India, there are some that are very scratchy and some are good enough. But that's not how it should be. And yes the Sonnet writes very nicely and even the IM writes well.

Parker fountain pen maintaining their quality for decades. But the new parker 51 is not worth it. The product is overpriced and also scratches appear on the body due to the rotation of the cap. This seems to be a technical defect.
