I am so glad for you! I met my partner on a dating website. He lived in a neighboring state. We ended up messaging every night for a couple months before I finally agreed to meet him real life. Long story short...I fell in love with him at first sight! We have managed to carry on a long distance relationship for 8 years. We have decided to join our home this year forever! I know he wants a big and traditional proposal, and wedding ceremony. I am just concerned that "gay marriage" will become illegal soon after the supreme court finally releases its decision on Roe V Wade. I also thought I would never find someone. It took a lot of self examination and support to realize I was worthy of finding a partner. Kudos Joseph! I'm so pleased.

Congrats on the new boy friend and good luck on your move back to UT although it sounds like you will be here in Austin for a few more months. The changes that are going on here in Austin are just crazy and the city is getting very very expensive with no end in sight. I've lived here for 9 years and have seen a lot of those changes. Those storms that hit a few weeks ago with those tornados and the crazy lightening. It has been a very warm and dry spring. I had decided last fall that I would be moving to Jacksonville Fla later on next year as I really enjoy being on the Atlantic when I go out there to visit friends. Last of all I am subscribed to Latter Gay Saints and they recently posted a video on David Archuleta and his recent coming out. Your thoughts on him? Maybe when you are back in UT you can go visit the LGBT Community center in Heber City. I was in Heber City as a kid as some friends and my father and I were headed to do some fishing up at lake strawberry. we had a great time.
Austin is getting expensive! I heard it dropped out of the top ten best U.S. cities to live in for the first time in years. I love Austin but I’m also not too surprised. Good luck with your move to Jacksonville!
Omg i moved in July once lol. It was so hot we switched to moving stuff at midnight and it was STILL suffocating humidity and heat. BUT, I'm sure it won't be so bad for you. You're probably just putting everything in a moving truck and leaving. I wish you guys the best! I've wanted to visit Utah again someday to hike the Grand Arches Park. Some really beautiful desert scenery.

We are always urged NOT TO MAKE generalized statements about categories of people, gays in particular who may go from one to the next hoping perhaps for the unrealistic of your dreams. But that applies equally to between men and women. For Mormons who may show some characteristics in common of which faith is a basic there can be a real difference despite huge emotional internal struggles. Not so many years ago Mormons often were regarded with suspicions in many parts of the country for their rigidity and often felt highly exclusive ways. But that has changed bit by bit for so much the better as evidence is seen of better qualities perhaps seldom seen among other groups. You are a wonderful example to the wider world beyond Utah.
If you really want to change-Christ can help you You have to get your eyes off of you & onto him. It may not be easy or instant. Christ is the way-he knows you. I know people who have gone thru this.
Well a relationship is great, so is family, but comparing Austin to Utah...TX wins everything. I saw each video as you met new guys (which is great) but such major frequent moves...ouch. Every new guy has quirks & ur doing a lot when he oughta move to Austin...Austin is the no brainer everyone will agree.
