Two KTOD Discord wins and a ton of top 8s! Well done numpties!!
Hey guys 😊 I took Rey Blue to a local Showdown final 2 weeks ago. I ran 2x Regional Governors in the main, and took down Boba Green in the Top 4 game. Lost game 1, but managed to play a Governor in both game 2 & 3, naming OB. He couldn’t get to the Governors through all the Sentinals…
Did the same thing.. I think the "Governess* is must include these days..
I did the same thing... The "Governess" as I call her.. is a must include I think..
I used RG too! Was too funny when I called Poe and Wrecker at the curve and they couldn't do anything. :)
Great video as always! Yeah I am very interested in testing that Han Yellow match up more, as justin said it might not be good news for Old Han
Keep us posted
The RSG PQ was a lot of fun. Played against Mike in round 2 of Swiss and it was intense
Ggs! You crushed me :)
Great video guys! Is John Tatta's Sabine ECL decklist anywhere? Thanks !
great vid, will this go up on spotify? usually where i listen and saw this one on yt. thanks!
We only drop the bi-weekly podcast on Spotify
Watched Bobby’s play Saturday exciting PQs
We're back baby!
So from my experience tonight against two boba decks one being green and one being double yellow, Vader ramp handles them pretty well with all the dark side removal cards such as force crush being a card that hits most of their cards and if not Vader will ping 1 damage to kill it off
Vader has always been great into boba but traditionally struggles into sabine
My opinion why there was a lot of boba winners was that people were afraid to play blue control decks due to fears of time constraints and double losses.
Definitely
You mentioned you wanted to have been playing Rey given the field of Sabines, but how does a Rey Blue with Boba Green? I feel like that is such a hard match up. Boba Red I beat at a championship this weekend and Yellow I would feel okay against, but those Boba Greens with all that top end and ramp feels so hard to turn a corner against when Boba comes out.
It can certainly struggle when they ramp but w the healing and cheap sentinel you do have openings to stabilize
There is a mistake in spreadsheet in NON PQ SPAIN - There is Cassian Tarkintown, were it should be Cad Tarkintown.
Yeah I had too much Sabine on the brain :) thanks!
If I’m not mistaken wasn’t boba green really good at release as well?
Absolutely
rip, did Pasadena PQ on Sunday not count as Week1?
It ended after we filmed.
@@SWU_KTOD gotcha, I figured that may be the case
I tried to stay awake but couldn't do it. We made a community post
One Question, Where do you think han2 blue falls in the current meta?
I played Han2 Blue at the KC PQ and I think it's well-situated if built right. But a Bazine/Ma Klounkee loop and a well-timed OB can be quite rough no matter what you do, TBH (and this was always the case even before now). You sometimes need to play around them and when you give them damaged units, otherwise they get good hits for things like 4-LOM, so need to know when to play on curve or cheat with Han. You also need to kill all of their Underworld units before they can put the damage onto them with Maul, etc.
Han2 is lucky in that the removal suite in Blue can be tailored quite a bit to what is popular. If you weren't on 3 Fell the Dragons I think you probably should be after this, etc. The control elements of the deck just need to be adjusted to counter what you see with Boba Green.
As a non-boba player at the KCPQ, Han2 Blue and Han2 ECL we're having a pretty good day clearing everything but Boba out of the top table.
Village protectors and Obi-Wan is really good into aggro. I was playing Sabine and my losses were all to red blue heroism decks. I planned to heavily on fighting boba's :p
I'd be wary of the rise of Overwhelming Barrage decks which I believe we discussed in the vid a bit as well
Kshlerin Hills
Wyman Valley
Streich Bypass
I hate the blue iden decks. Hard control is not fun to play against in this game. Gives me flashbacks to the Dagobah days in swccg.
I don't disagree, I'm a bit worried about that Satine drop today
How? You pick a new game before fantasy flight kills it 😂
RIP
Pretty funny he’s a mastermind in 46 player event, and the Canadian one with 49 doesn’t count lmao
Did we say that it didn’t count?
I see what you kinda mean, but it's just different ways to speak about both events. The Canadian one deserves the same praise as the Iden player! :)
