Whew! That's a lot of work and tools required. I second pair of hands would be nice. However, for DIY's it;s just another day at the office! Thank you very much for this detailed install.
You’re very welcome. Eventually after working on gm vehicles you get quite the stock of tools. These tools are all very basic and cheap. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
You should do light up like mine. So far I haven’t seen another. It’s definitely a conversation starter. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
I got this one when I was on vacation in the Philippines off an app called lazada. Here is the link: s.lazada.com.ph/s.7Hbmy They are also available on eBay if you are in Canada or the US. Tanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
So I ran your question by a colleague of mine that has a 2012 equinox. He says that the badge is only held on by adhesive. So you can use a plastic panel removal tool and some fishing line to remove the badge. Then clean it with goo gone. Then clean with rubbing alcohol thoroughly. After that the only difference you will have is that you will have to drill a hole in your bezel to put the wires through as you won’t have holes like mine did. Other than that the bezel will come off the same as in this video. Wiring will also be the same. Thanks for watching. Hope this helps. Please like and subscribe
You’re welcome. I’m glad to help. It only took a couple Facebook messages to my colleage, no big deal. That’s what we do for our fellow equinox owners.
I believe in you. I know you can do it. Just keep the video playing by the vehicle so it’s like I’m instructing you as you do it. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe

BADGE? We don't need no stinking badge!
I feel like that’s a line from a movie.
Link to where to buy that please 😅
I bought off of lazada. It’s like Amazon for china and the Philippines.
Do you know if this would work on the 2010-2015 that have the full chrome piece under the emblem?
