Man, I wish stores around here had people like you.. Fair deals. Go in with $500 sold listing price, they offer $100 because they gotta make money.. I dont bother taking anything in anymore. I would rather take more time and sell items one at a time..
In my city we have two game stores. One that gives reasonable prices. They typically do 40%-60% of value based on price and how fast they sell. They are transparent with their business which is nice. The other store literally opposite. I've witnessed them buying a game for $5 that sells for $70. I told the lady that games goes for a lot more money. The game store then said we will pay $10. She ended up getting $20+ for it. She was fine with that price and thanks me. I initially went there to sell off my game collection at the time and once I saw their business moto I literally turned around and walked out the door. That later that week found the other store I mentioned earlier.
I have a very extensive vintage hoard 70s-90s. Mostly Toys, But a bunch of everything. It has all been sitting waiting for myself to pull the trigger on a store. I could literally open a store an not buy anything for a few years to give you an idea of how much I have. I really enjoy your channel. BTW that disc cleaner sounded like R2-D2 lol
This is the second time I saw Lunar Eternal Blue for Sega CD come up in the last couple weeks. Prompted me to find my copy the last time I saw it as I wasn't aware of the CIB price tag! Great video!
Those 50 disc cleaners are fantastic, been watching Chase after the right price and how many they have managed to get through in such a short amount of time. I would love to get one but not quite at that level of stock yet!
@@Iricetis The only downside is all the god crap he spews he even stated he wouldn't hire anyone not religious which should be against the law. Apart from that it's a good channel.
i feel like all this store does is take stuff in because that is what is shown in all the videos. Maybe you should occasionally show some of the bigger sales. it would be cool to see what collectors are buying too.

I fell in love with your $10 game collection videos a few years ago and started ebaying part time for fun, just wanted to say that I fell in love with this video particularly because it hit home when I just listed today the same sky dancers VHS on ebay for the same price you have in store. Small world and these small connections just remind me how much I love your videos. Keep up the great work and I'll continue watching them same day they're live on YT!
Retro Rick is always taking me back. I remember when I got my Sega cd for Christmas. Such a great time. Still have it in my possession. The boxed consoles and the game genie mint boxed a road down nostalgic lane. The blue pops on that Mario Bros lunch box. 🔥🔥🔥
Whenever I get back to the US I have to come see y'all's store. I only started watching this channel a few weeks ago, but your love of all this pop culture and infectious attitude are going to be worth it alone.
It's great to see a meet generation interested in the sega cd. Great game to start off with as well. My greatest and most expensive video game find at the thrift was that very game in mint condition for $2.99! Love the new machine as well. 🤟🔥
@pcphoenix123 I've heard similar stories but I've had mine since 1993 and it still works great! No serious maintenance with it either. I think you should give it a go. A lot of great titles on it but it's a very expensive system to collect for.
Not a fan of resurfacing unless the disc just does not work. Local game store here in my part of Ontario Canada buffs out anything with a minor scratch. Why must the disc look mint to sell? You are just one resurfacing away from that disc never working again, and that’s a fact.
I'm so glad I own that 2dsxl I got the box and everything...it sells for 500 sealed on ebay. No chance I would have traded all that for that Sega tower tho. No chance....esp since the 2dsxl Zelda sells for so much.
Man I actually remember the sonic spin ball game. I can remember getting that Sega with the game for Xmas in like 94 or 95 I think. Crazy that there's still consoles like that with the box it came in. Blows my mind.
He could buy one gor 4000 but u have to stand in front of it and constantly change it . A disc takes 5 min 50 at a time is 250 min of work saved .. that's 4 hours a day with a single loading .. he runs that everyday its essentially a employee . Those things last for years... let's say 5 years . He had a machine capable of replacing the work load of 30 hours a week for 5 grand a year ....and now has that time avavible to generate even more income ... seems like great investment .
@@thomasworthington4135 First of all the buffing machine is not an investment. It's an expense. The buffing machine needs to be out by the cash register so employees can service customers faster without walking to the back room to buff a disc which wastes time. It was a terrible purchase because that Nintendo Switch rack was empty! Rick needs inventory. If he keeps making decisions like that his store is not going to be open for very long. The only problem with using a single pokemon switch game to replace the missing dual pack is that the dual pack games have a different sku. So for actual collectors that would kind of suck to buy and see you have a single sku in the dual pack
