Hello! I watched your video and found it very interesting. I bought a filtosmart 300 about a month and a half ago. I am very satisfied with it, except for the noise which in my opinion is excessive. I played the recording of the filter in operation to the Oase assistance here in Italy. With great regret, they told me that they cannot say whether it is a normal noise or not. I asked them to give me a range of decibels but I have not received a response. In short, it does not seem like good assistance to me. While I was watching your video I was wondering if you could tell me what decibels you record with the filter in operation. It would help me a lot to know, because if the noise in decibels is normal then I can put my mind at peace and not think about it anymore. Thank you for your reply. Greetings from Italy
@cosmaindicopleuste Hello 👋 I don't happen to have a decimal meter, but my filtosmart 100 is absolutely silent. It's about 3 feet away from my bed and I do not hear it at all. What type of noise does it make? Is it a humming sound, grinding sound, or a gurgling sound?
@@AquaSkrimps thank you so much for your reply. i shot a video, the same one i sent to oase support. if you want i can send it to your email and you tell me what you think.
@cosmaindicopleuste if you have Instagram you can DM it to me same handle as here, aquaskrimps. Don't really want my email address out there. I hope you understand.
@Joseph-l4s4p if you have the funds biomaster all the way. I just didn't need something that big for the specific tank. I have the biomaster thermo 250 on my other tank and I LOVE it. Cannot recommend it enough.
@Joseph-l4s4p if they made a smaller biomaster I would of got that lol. The filtosmart is an amazing filter as well. The biomaster is just better because the ease of maintenance and the way the media is setup

@@AquaSkrimps Hi and thanks. I sent you a DM with the video.
how do you think the filtosmart compares to the biomaster? I'm deciding between a biomaster 250 or a filtosmart 300.
