- The latest episode of The Invincibles Series with Arbaaz Khan Season 2 features ace filmmaker Ramesh Sippy. During the heartfelt chat, the director recalls starting his journey with Andaaz and how he began his collaboration with the screenwriting duo Salim-Javed. He also recalls making Seeta Aur Geeta and reveals why Mumtaz turned down the film and how Hema Malini came on board. Talking about Malini, Ramesh Ji reveals how she wore a plaster and danced on hot rocks during Sholay, a film that changed the game for him. He also reveals the film went over budget and was initially criticized for being lengthy. He even mentions having to drop Majboor to work on Sholay. Talking about casting, the director reveals Danny Denzongpa was initially approached to play Gabbar Singh, not Amjad Khan. Sippy Ji also gets candid about why Amitabh Bachchan was not the first choice for the movie Shakti. Excellent conversation between two gentleman and Arbaaz really want to tell you dear you are such a good interviewer.... you are so humble of course you are Salim Sahab's son... so we have lot of expectations from you but trust me you are fulfilling all are expectations... big fan of you show.
22 minutes is too short to interview legends who have spent 30-40 years. Please increase the episode length to minimum of 30-35 minutes

I’m krishan from Nepal and I’m a big fan of you and MR. salman khan .
As a big fan of him I always wish to see him as a great human and a unique, dynamic and biggest blockbusters movies.
Sir. I’m that keen fan who always not only wish to see him in most different and next levels movies but I personally had made some efforts to get him in that level with my own script.
Sir, I have created a new film story for him. I believe it’s very unique, dynamic, with painful yet beautiful love story and with biggest action sequences.
It’s “one man army” kind of story where a hero always sacrifice his life and everything for his people and mother land. I believe it matches on his real personality. And also believe you/he will not reject it if you/he get a chance to read it once. Otherwise I know millions of people created a film story/script and follow you/him.
I wish, he hold a new record of all time blockbuster movie in this film story. 😊and also I always dreamed to meet him in real life one day soon.

But I have a feeling that, you will reply me back one day soon.
Sir actually, I don’t know why I created this story for the film, because it was not my profession.
But I feel, what I have created it’s gone a rock the Bollywood film industry.
Actually we watch the movie and keep our review on that, like: which part of the film is good and which is not.
Same like that, watched my movie hundreds of time in my imagination and I always feel it has to go with Salman sir anyhow.
Also i have prepared it for him and he was always with me in my mind when I wrote it.

Sanjeev Sahab(Hari bhai) was the best in Film Sholay 1975.He was the Natural Actor of Seventees in Bollywood.
The questions are longer than the answers. The interviewer himself is narrating incidents instead of letting the guest speak.

Hi. As much as I enjoy this show, I am greatly disappointed at the truncated versions of the conversation. It would have been fascinating to watch the entire and complete chat that occurred between Arbaaz & Mr Sippy. The joy has been stolen from us. Hope this is rectified asap.
