This is incredible! I'm not deaf, but I have an interest in learning ASL. I love music, so learning songs in ASL is a really great way to learn! :D

Catharine ASL and PSE are really similar. Once you know signs you can learn syntax

one tip is when it says " I was born sick " instead of signing sick
with both your hands, finger spell the word sick on your forehead and sign from right to left. it fits this form of sick better. it means like sick in the head which is the form they are using!

I'm trying to learn to, but the problem is, where do I start. Did you start learning words or sentence construction or blindly learning sentences and phrases ? Need help :D

Pierre Monvoisin I learned letters for years then this me and my friend started learning words together... it gets easier trust me. I would learn about words a night and so would my friend, she would tell me her words and I would tell her mine. get a friend to do it with you and you will be able to communicate with a deaf person.

+Meg U Some songs have copyright issues, but some don't. It's really a hit or miss. Just be sure you don't monetize anything with copyrighted material.
they are both correct some people also do it as making a fist and pushing it forward with fingers facing the person (Wrist at 90 degrees) as well it depends on where in the country you are from because different places have different 'accents' they same as they do when your speaking regularly. then you also have the British sign language which can be different to the 'accented' sign as well but yes they all mean the same thing.
Sorry, i spoke about BSL but i'm sure its very similar with other sign languages as well. this looked very similar to BSL but just seen another video and saw the alphabet she is using is what looks like ASL. please let me know what sign language this is. it's very confusing when people don't put it in the title of the video. :)

@@markbones6739 You can put your hand like this --> ✋ then push outward as if you were telling them to stop, I dont think there are different variations of "your" in sign language though. Hope that helps :)

I remember watching this video while I was becoming deaf and a couple other songs and this made me feel better and now I know ASL much better so thank you for everything that you do and now I'm doing sign language for my church because now I'm healed and now other people are inspired to learn sign laguage so thank you for all that you do do you by the way have like a twitter account or something that I can follow?

This is so mesmerizing. My sign language teacher says that when signing a song, to keep a song interesting instead of repetitive you have to have movement expression and passion, and I don't know much sign language yet, but I think you nailed it

Since you know its PSE, why is it titled ASL? I'm only mentioning it because many peoe don't know the difference, you seem to. By labelling it ASL, people might misunderstand what ASL is.

No, its absolutely not. What makes ASL what it is, is the grammar, the sign choices, and the linguistics. All of which PSE has its own rules. PSE is a Manually Coded English. Please keep learning about the language so you will understand.

I have wanted to learn sign,as I love working with kids and thought of being a special ed teacher or a therapist as I love helping others. I try to practice sign by talking to friends and teach them what all I know, but all they ever want to learn is how to swear. I take sign seriously and want to actually learn, it makes me sad when I encounter somebody who also wants to learn sign but they just want to learn to insult others. In my opinion its disgusting, in a way it mocks the deaf culture. For my friends to mock my passion and what I want to do with my life kinda stings.

im trying to learn how do sign language and when I was 7 i had a friend and his mom was deaf so him and his dad had to communicate with her using sign language and how we communicated was she would give me her phone and then we would go back and forth Q&A or if she didn't have her phone she would give me a pen and i would write on a napkin
