OK lady. Here is the deal. I love color, I absolutely can not get enough color in my life. I followed you because I just love how colorful your videos are. I hope you continue to be this informative and colorful for years to come. Thank you for brightening my life. ❤🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜
I’m so glad you posted this tutorial. I’ve only been crocheting for a few years and have wondered how this was accomplished. Great tutorial!! Thank you.❤
The thumbnail picture makes me think of those old candies that you'd buy at crackle barrel, the ones that you peel off the paper. Anyone else see it or is it just me? Lol.
Hi, Natzazia! Oh, I so appreciate this tutorial video on beads, I have only used beads on fine yarn to help keep from splitting. But I love the bead look. ❤ your teaching is easy to understand and follow 😊, beads away! Lol.😊😊😊 see you on the tube 😊
I always assumed option #3 was the only way, but I never bothered to research this. So when I saw your video, I had to know! :D Thank you for educating me!
👍🤩💝As always, your nail color is beautiful. Thank you for showing us these techniques. You explain things so well. That’s a lot of work. If I do ever use beads, I limit myself to beads that can fit over whichever crochet hook I’m using because all of that switching to a different hook is too tedious for me.😞
I love how you show many different methods, I can see them all being useful. I have only done the string ahead method because I have only crocheted necklaces and earrings using tiny beads and thread. I just string on a lot more than I think I will need to be sure.
Yes absolutely, I have made many seed bead necklaces that way. I have another tutorial using larger beads for making spiral bead bracelets by searching for Naztazia Bead Tube.
Okie u showed me beads i subscribed . I have bunch of yarn and bunch of beads just need to learn how to crochet. I can sew, paint, draw, knit and embroider.
Yes, the key is getting beads that can be laundered, since blankets are oftentimes washed more frequently than other handmade items. I usually look for beads that are designed to be sewn on clothing, as they are more likely to be able to withstand frequent washing and drying.
Yes, it would be a yarn under to have the bead face the forward side of the work. The traditional yarn over has the bead face the reverse side of the work.
Hello, a great video. I am however looking for a video on how to crochet dangling beads. I am not having much luck. For example a bead fringe on a scarf or dangling coins on a bellydance scarf but with beads before the coin. I have done one with just coins but can’t quite work out how the have a coin with the beads dangling and then the single thread thru the coin!? Any hello greatly appreciated.
It depends upon the type of beads used. Beads specifically designed for use on clothing generally hold up well. I mostly hand wash handmade items, both with beads and without, so handwashing is always a safer option. However I do not hand wash blankets, which many of mine have ribbons, beads, tassels or some other decorative thing on them. I always put those blankets in a large thin cotton laundry bag, zip up the drawstring, and put it by itself on the delicate cycle of the washing machine. Then I leave it in the laundry bag for drying on a delicate cycle in the dryer. No issues then.
Cuff bracelets are one of the fastest things to make. Back in the 80s we would make small change purses using beads, which nowadays can serve as a card holder instead.
The flatter ones are called pony beads. In America, they are usually available in the craft places in the bead areas. The other ones are 6 mm acrylic round beads, which can be found in craft places too, or online places.

Wow great video! Super informative. Have you ever tried bead crochet with really small beads like seed beads?
Yes absolutely, I have made many seed bead necklaces that way. I have another tutorial using larger beads for making spiral bead bracelets by searching for Naztazia Bead Tube.

I wonder if this could be useful to make a weighted blanket... The ones they sell in my country are very expensive.

Hi love the bead idea ty. But I really luv your nails are they ur own what's the color❤❤❤
Thank you! It's that newer method of placing a gel polish, followed by LED curing, then chrome powder, LED curing, etc.
❤❤❤❤❤شكرا
I would say the method 3 is the fastest one. Did I understand correctly that you have to go Yarn under to place the bead on the right /front side?
Yes, it would be a yarn under to have the bead face the forward side of the work. The traditional yarn over has the bead face the reverse side of the work.

I show one way to create a beaded fringe on a crochet scarf in this tutorial ua-cam.com/video/XFs8HM45ufY/v-deo.html
How does washing the item with the beeds go? Any issues? Broken beeds?
