Do not fret, dear Jack. Your highly coveted hydrangeas can be planted above ground! How about getting 2 tall, gothic urns, dividing the hydrangeas between the 2 of them, and then continuing to fill these beautiful planters with other floral species that bloom after hydrangeas do? That way, you have flowers throughout the season? And, to add visual depth and interest, you could add something tall'ish in the middle of each urn! Like some dwarf evergreens! 😀 Maybe some Boxwood or Inkberry Holly that you could channel your Edward Scissor Hands with and make some cool sculpture or shape! Think French Renaissance Garden....have I gone too far? 😬😂...anywayyyyy, you should also consult your local garden expert or Professor Google to make sure that the plants on your wish list are best suited for the "zone" you guys are at.

All sleepwear for children requires keep away from open flames...fires in fireplace, candles, & bonfires typically occur in the evening. Children were dying due to pajamas catching on fire...given our litigious society, I imagine adults need this warning as well. Love the video, sorry about the hydrangea...I love hydrangea!
Yes, they also began spraying flame retardant on a lot of pajamas because of this but then realized they were causing birth defects and cancer so moved away from those
Be careful using stock pics from American Eagle and Aerie! Posh has taken down every. single. listing. That I have ever used a stock photo of for those brands. Anyone else experience this? Super frustrating. I usually just consign them now because of it.
Not AE or Aerie but they must have hired people to start looking, now. I get hit if I do Sundance or Gymshark stock photos. Thanks for the heads up on AE.

First, love your botched botanical plans story, lots of good suggestions coming in comments, would love to see a video of your developing garden. And that last dress is gorg! This might help, I noticed there is Branding on fabric selvage by zipper. Also, if you find out nothing, it might be good to list under cultural or whatever PM has as category. I just found a Toast cardigan sweater at the Plato’s clearance sale 75% off.I got it for myself but after looking it up I’ll sell it in the fall…besides I live in Florida and have way too many sweaters for this hot climate. I just sold 12 and still have too many. Great finds!

Just a little FYI Hydrangeas change colors based on the soil pH levels. so if you notice the blooms turning blue or white etc it's due to soil. I purchased a gorgeous blue one because that's my favorite color and once it started having baby blooms they were pink 😢
I think it came about because there were a lot of accidental burns to children, back before WWII where kids were wearing new nylon pajamas and gowns, which were highly flammable. After the depression people used kerosene heaters to heat their homes as well as open fireplaces. But I could be wrong :) plus most house fires tend to happen at night.

Typically when you’re awake you’re less likely to catch fire because you or those are around you are aware of your surroundings. If you’re sleeping and god forbid your house goes up in flames, your pajamas won’t go up in flames along with it because you’re unconscious and can’t put it out. or say you fall asleep by a fire place and roll over and your arm goes into the fire, youll only burn your arm. Not half your body due to your pajamas catching fire

Hydrangeas work in big tubs and they also survive in very poor soil so why not see if you can coax one in the ground and put the others in pots. Your purple dress is Ankara - lovely.
