Got the software working and made my desired pattern with ease. However, the print isn't coming out true to size. The warning dialog box tells me to go to settings but I don't know which ones to change. Hope you can help. 宜しくお願い致します。Edit: I have followed the FAQ and entered the printed dimensions into the 10cm x 10cm values box. One side is printing true to length, but one is short by 5mm. I can't get the accurate hole spacing. The software is super easy to use but I'm stuck on the printing hurdle.

You are only one step away from the accurate printing! As far as I know there is no printer that cannot be calibrated with this method assuming you are using one of those major printer brands such as Canon, Epson, HP, Brother, RICOH, etc. it sounds like you tried calibration by following the step written in the FAQ but still getting incorrect printing. The most common cause for this case is the print scale settings. Please make sure the printing scale is set Custom & 100% (or something equivalent). Do not choose Fit to paper or such scaling option. Another thing is, please set 100mm to the both calibration X and Y value BEFORE printing the test page. Then print a page and measure the ruler length at the bottom right in mm. Oh, one more thing. Please always set the paper orientation as portrait when doing calibration. I hope this helps.

Hi, can you add an option to export to DXF. This will eliminate having to export to SVG and then having to convert to DXF. I will help when wanting to laser cut. Also can you add print to PDF or save to PDF. Thanks for improving your software continuously.
It will also help to have more instructional videos in English.

Hello! Thank you for your comment. I have just completed implementing the DXF export feature, so it will be there in the next update which should be released in a few days. Regarding the PDF, the feature is already there both for Windows version and macOS version. Please watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/oy5JCN5aP0s/v-deo.html .
The UI may be a bit outdated but the basics are the same. There is a description about the print to PDF and print calibration in the FAQ page but it's written in Japanese: coffee-craft.net/leathercraft_cad/faq You might be able to read it using Google translation or something. I will make the English version of FAQ page in the future but it not there yet. Sorry for inconvenience.

Would it be possible to add a inches key also

I thought about it at the beginning but I found the majority of people are using metrics even in the U.S for leather craft works. (I had lived in the U.S. back in that time). So currently I have no plan to support inches or feet but I may change my mind if my assumption of the U.S. leather crafters is wrong. (And I know I may be wrong😅)

Are there any plans on making this opensource? Could help from a development point of view? Eitherway, seems great so far.

I am interested in making it open source in the future but I am not ready yet. But I would like to know how to make a project open source. I have been using GitHub to manage the code so I don’t think I’m too far away but I’m not a professional programmer and there are tons of things to learn before making it open source. I wish 1 day were 48 hours instead of 24🤣

I’m having an issue after the update. Tried to use Box stitch helper and the app closed completely. Not able to open my project at all.

Hello! If the app doesn't start up, please delete the auto-save files in the following location:
      Windows:
      C:\Users\your_user_id\AppData\Roaming\leathercraft_cad\autosave_xxxx.tmp
      macOS:
      /Users/your_user_id/leathercraft_cad/autosave_xxxx.tmp

If you can send me the auto-save file to me via email that would be helpful for me to troubleshoot for future updates. If in case the app starts up but you cannot open a particular project file, then I can fix the project file if you could send me that file via email. My email address is written in the release note or license agreement that can be accessed from the help menu.

Hi! i use XTOOL laser whit XCS. I make pattern whit LC CAD. I export it to SVG and DXF. I try to use it in XTOOL. Pattern is not in actualy size what i made. It was a lot of smaller. I dont know is that bug in this or in XCS. Original was 160mm in SVG it was 113mm and in DFX 132mm.

Hello! I haven't used xtool (I want one!) or XCS but one of the other Leathercraft CAD users says he did not experience any size changes when he imported a SVG into XCS. So it's hard for me to tell if it's a problem of Leathercraft CAD or XCS. If you send me the SVG by email, I will be able to check if the SVG is correct or not (my email address is written in the license agreement or the release note accessible from the Help menu). I use Light Burn software for my budget laser engraver and I have never experienced issues importing SVG files generated with Leathercraft CAD. You can also check with InkScape software (free) to see if SVG can be imported to InkScape with the designed size or not. I hope this helps.
