Yes, I think Justin totally missed it. You can hear that the string is missing if you listen closely but Stevie Ray just keeps on going. What else could he do, really?
Plus Stevie played with 13 gauge strings, most other guitarists used to be in awe he could pull them strings like he did, they would have shred anyone elses fingers!
Roll your fingers..roll your dice..but it don't cut no ICE..This is a legend your seeing with your own eyes..get his autograph..its Stevie Ray Vaughan..legend
The smooth guitar change and not missing a beat after he broke a string is one of the many reasons why SRV is the G.O.A.T, there will never be another one like him.
I'm 60 years old and I've been listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan for probably 40 of those years and I'm glad to see young guys like you enjoying that music it really makes me feel good to know that you guys are going to keep it moving on like it should thanks dude
Finally! A Stevie Ray reaction..but you missed him break a string, change guitars, and not miss a beat..for that you have to do another one lol...Tin Pan Alley with SRV anf Johnny Copeland please!💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
I got to see SRV who opened for Ray Charles for $7at Seattle Festival. Didn't know Stevie but we were a sweaty mess afterward and gobsmacked! We had tickets for his show but he died in Helicopter at 33 yrs old. Never will forget that feeling or him! 💞✌
It seems to me that no matter the genre of music, the great performers all share the ability to capture and hold the audience. Stevie had that for sure. One of my biggest regrets is not seeing him perform in person.
That's about as good as it gets! Can I get a hallelujah? Stevie and his guitar tech are as professional as it gets too. So many guitarists would stop after they broke a string. Not Stevie! he just plays elsewhere till his guy can bring him a new guitar. Smoove!
@afr malatesta Define "Better" because the last time i checked, Music was not a sport. I'm not saying Stevie is better than Hendrix or otherwise, just two great musicians existing in their own time...
Check out Stevie Ray Vaughan with Johnny Copeland performing “Tin Pan Alley” fantastic!! Also A great song he wrote for a friend of his who died called “life without you” beautiful song a song with the message! When you have a great song sleep “tightrope”, “Crossfire”, “cold shot” “Couldn’t stand the Weather”, “Scuttle Buttin” (short but awesome) “I’m Cryin” there is also a really cool song it’s short but he does it with his brother on the same double neck guitar it’s called “Pipeline” with Jimmy Vaughan and The songs go on and on!!!!!
As always Stevie brings the heat. He was the best! Check out Tin Pan Alley.... I think you will like it. As you said we know its about to go down when Stevie is playing those chords.
Did you happen to take notice to the fact that he had broken a string and then did the smoothest guitar change out ever he unhooked his hand it away re-hooked up the new guitar and just kept on going as if nothing happened!! Awesome song although Stevie is always awesome!!
Huh... excuse me Black America knew about Stevie Ray in the 1970s and 1980s. I saw him live twice in the 80s and he was badass then and badass now. There's no one like Stevie. Now, he's up there with all his musical mentors Albert King, Buddy Guy, BB King, Jimmy Hendrix, all the Greats, etc.. RIP Stevie.
Love, Love,Love❤ Mr. Stevie Ray Vaughan😅 Stank face Maximus 💯 (RIP)MY SWEET BABY🙏🥰 I WAS BLESSED TO MEET HIM AND SHAKE HIS BEAUTIFUL HAND🎸AND TELL HIM HOW WONDERFUL HE WAS AND HOW MUCH HIS FAN'S LOVED HIM AND CALLED HIM THE BEST GUITARIST ON THIS PLANET 😍🎸💯🤘✌️📀🔥HE WAS A VERY HUMBLE MAN BUT HE WAS GREATFUL 🎉 LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND YOUR REACTIONS 💯🎧 THANK YOU💯 YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK OUT? LIFE WITHOUT YOU IT'S A BANNER!! OR LOVE STRUCK ❤ OR PRIDE AND JOY OR IF THE HOUSE IS ROCKING OR TIN PAN ALLEY OR MARY HAD LITTLE LAMB🎸🇺🇲 YOU WILL LOVE THEM ALL🔥🔥🔥💯😍🤘🤘✌️
They were a damn tight band & Stevie ALWAYS gave each their dues...rightfully! Bowie wanted Stevie to drop them for him..."nah ta"....loyal and so humble, if Stevie lived just another few yrs cud be Bowie would be Stevies roadie lololo 😝 Nice reaction...whats to say to any LIVE SRV/DOUBLE TROUBLE Performance 🙏🥺
Bro I'm a huge srv fan that's my guy you wanna see mind blowing guitar work watch voodoo Chile live one night in Texas the same show you just reacted to it has to be that concert partner it's gonna melt you're face off be prepared.peace out and stay black
Justin, did you go back and watch the guitar switch once you were told what was happening there? That smooth, professional switch went right over your head didn't it? Totally missed one of the reasons he is called the G.O.A.T.!!
\m/ Awesome, Justin. R.I.P., Stevie. Keeps jamming even with a broken guitar string. If you like that, you have to, have to, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaave to react to Jimi Hendrix. Maybe his "Star Spangled Banner" play at Woodstock. "What we have in mind is breakfast in bed for 400,000." Another great job, Justin. \m/ =D
You missed the broken string and guitar switch! This exact performance is used as an example of keeping one's cool during a technical mishap, and also being rehearsed in how to deal with it in real time. Watch it again, sir!
Incredible player! You should check out Buckethead too. He's a guitarist that wears a white mask on his face & a bucket on his head. Are you curious? lol Here's a good intro: Buckethead - Siege Engine 9/19 Belly Up
Stevie Ray Vaughan is smart enough to use his guy on the side that is over his guitar strings to come out and stick one on in performance..and that's why he is Stevie Ray Vaughan and your NOT..r you with me? What a sensational performance and that's why the spotlight is on Stevie and he is sweating confusively..r you with me..now you know
Here is a song where Stevie introduces his band and they all do solos. Oh, and of course, the song is kickin’! Couldn’t Stand the Weather. ua-cam.com/video/V1u_oHpSTKs/v-deo.html
Me personally I think Stevie Ray Vaughan is the greatest GOAT ever but that is me but the thing about Stevie he was very Humble he said Jimi Hendrix was a better guitar player Eric Clapton said he played with such ease he never took a breather we lost a great Guitarist when we lost Stevie
Another great video! And another great guitar player gone too soon like Dimebag Darrell. Check out Randy Rhoads. Another great guitarist taken from us way too soon. Thanks again.
I don't mind a little acting, but try to focus more on the actual videos, and not so much on looking overly shocked. Genuine reactions are whats most important to me, and probably to most people whom watch these type of videos. That's just my 2 cents!
He breaks a guitar string mid solo and just keeps going! What a beast.
@JoshuaGuada I'm not sure Justin even noticed that. He was to busy dancing.
Yes, I think Justin totally missed it. You can hear that the string is missing if you listen closely but Stevie Ray just keeps on going. What else could he do, really?
The level of difficulty in continuing a solo with a broken string is very high. Near impossible if you have a floating tremolo.
Stevie was always hard on strings but damn he could play better then damn near anyone
I was listening to SRV live in the 70s. I love every bit of this. He would’ve been 66 on 10/3. RIP Stevie. You are loved always...💔
He is so smooth...he breaks a string , switches guitars and you didnt even notice,
Lol i notice that to wonder if he was even listening.
The most epic guitar string break and guitar switch in history and he totally missed it. wow.
Exactly what I was thinking
The smooth guitar change and not missing a beat after he broke a string is one of the many reasons why SRV is the G.O.A.T, there will never be another one like him.
His whole team, man, is a well-oiled machine, observant, fast, prepared, well-schooled in all aspects of rock 'n' roll performance.
I'm 60 years old and I've been listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan for probably 40 of those years and I'm glad to see young guys like you enjoying that music it really makes me feel good to know that you guys are going to keep it moving on like it should thanks dude

@@leslie8888 i never will forget either Les..Thanks for memories💞💞
It seems to me that no matter the genre of music, the great performers all share the ability to capture and hold the audience. Stevie had that for sure. One of my biggest regrets is not seeing him perform in person.
I was lucky enough to see the piano player live in 2016 when he was playing with Joe Bonamassa’s band 🔥🔥
you had your eyes closed when he broke his guitar string !!!
Stevie Ray Vaughan "Pride and Joy," "Little Wing," and "Tin Pan Alley [with Johnny Copeland]."
".....after you listen to him put his foot into that guitar's a......" made me laugh.
Stevie bustin' up those 13s, not missin' a lick.
You missed the string break and gitaur switch lol
That's about as good as it gets! Can I get a hallelujah?
Stevie and his guitar tech are as professional as it gets too.
So many guitarists would stop after they broke a string. Not Stevie! he just plays elsewhere till his guy can bring him a new guitar. Smoove!
In case you missed it, he broke a string on his guitar and traded out, without missing a note.
Yes SRV. GOAT. R.I.P.
He was the closest thing we had to Hendrix... RIP Stevie!!🎸
@afr malatesta Define "Better" because the last time i checked, Music was not a sport. I'm not saying Stevie is better than Hendrix or otherwise, just two great musicians existing in their own time...

As always Stevie brings the heat. He was the best! Check out Tin Pan Alley.... I think you will like it. As you said we know its about to go down when Stevie is playing those chords.
I Believe He was Referring To A Soul Sister of His 😎✌️
After SRV got clean for good he seemed to truly enjoy playing and inject so much feeling into every song. So sad it did not last for very long.
@Hard News TV 2 OMG! No wonder he had to use drugs.
Gotta check him doing the old Howling Wolf song “Commit a Crime”. There’s only one video of him doing it live on a cruise ship
I'd love to see you react to Stevie Ray Vaughans, "Life Without You". Loving how your channel is evolving. ✌💜🎶
Ginger Huff Agreed but must be live version! Always live SRV!!

Did you happen to take notice to the fact that he had broken a string and then did the smoothest guitar change out ever he unhooked his hand it away re-hooked up the new guitar and just kept on going as if nothing happened!! Awesome song although Stevie is always awesome!!
Incredible as always. Isn't it time to roll out some more AC DC? Take a look at old school AC DC with Bon Scott, prior to 1980. Take a look. Please.
I love seeing reactions to SRV. Amazing
Huh... excuse me Black America knew about Stevie Ray in the 1970s and 1980s. I saw him live twice in the 80s and he was badass then and badass now. There's no one like Stevie. He always breaks it down. Just keep watching
Guitar switch in the middle of the song. Didn’t miss a note, even with a broken string.
"Long Cold Winter" by Cinderella is some good blues, dude. Epic guitar solo too. 🎸
They were a damn tight band & Stevie ALWAYS gave each their dues...rightfully! Bowie wanted Stevie to drop them for him..."nah ta"....loyal and so humble, if Stevie lived just another few yrs cud be Bowie would be Stevies roadie lololo 😝
Nice reaction...whats to say to any LIVE SRV/DOUBLE TROUBLE Performance 🙏🥺
Reese Winans is the piano player. Next to Little Richard he is a bad ass. SRV? HE'S ONE IN A MILLION!
"He's ready to use that flavor saver." My beer is no longer with my mouth.

Justin, did you go back and watch the guitar switch once you were told what was happening there? That smooth, professional switch went right over your head didn't it? Totally missed one of the reasons he is called the G.O.A.T.!!

And a daily regimen of 7 grams of Cocaine and a quart of whiskey!

Nobody ever requests "Crossfire." Maybe there's no live vid, but I think it was the most commercially successful song.
