Hi Andy- I like your voice over and very informational / easy to follow. However, I do not have access to admin due to work access to outlook / Microsoft 365. How do I manage my boss’s contacts and groups for outgoing emails without admin access?
Aw thanks Teresa. Why not create your own demo tenant to practice on. You can try free for 30 days. I use these all the time. Office.com create an E5 test tenant. Good luck and have fun :-)
Hello, You say you cannot create dynamic groups in 365 because its assigned? a bit of Googling shows "Microsoft 365 Groups supports dynamic membership for either devices or users, but not both. You can also convert a group from static to dynamic membership if needed but this action will remove the current membership list." Can you explan when you meant?
Hi Osama many thanks for your comment. Technically you administer teams from within teams and SharePoint within SharePoint and not vice versa typically when you administer them in these interfaces they then talk back to Microsoft 365 groups. But, you cannot administer a Microsoft team, SharePoint team site directly from within groups, it has to be the other way around. Within Microsoft 365 groups there are a couple of exceptions to this rule, but generally you would administer it from the primary product, teams, SharePoint et. Of course you can also administer them via powershell as well.
I just worked with this for at least 4 hours. It is a disaster. After all that it won't work. I sent an invitation link to someone and it took them to the Bing search page. Not even a prompt to log in! Useless
It sounds like your guest settings are not correctly configured. You may want to have a look at these couple of videos ua-cam.com/video/GI279H1Je_M/v-deo.html and here ua-cam.com/video/1Xhq0IzMNzw/v-deo.html number 4. And also here ua-cam.com/video/1f_-k1SAQQE/v-deo.html The video you looked at is slightly older and the product has changed somewhat. So, in a nutshell I suspect your frustrations are caused by incorrect settings so I hope these will help.
i tried playing around but i discovered in my outlook i can only find the groups when i go to manage groups in my mailbox instead of just finding them on the left Nav. bar, is this completely normal ?
It doesn't matter how many videos I watch; I always learn something new, Andy 😎
That is awesome!
Fascinating use of Dynamic users. Thanks!

Yes, you can have assigned or dynamic uses in a Microsoft 365 Admin typically not devices though
Hi Andy, first, thank you for the video, but could you show me how to manage SharePoint, Teams, or List with Groups?

@@AndyMaloneMVP I appreciate your response
Hello, I'm Looking to Migrate Group to different tenant. Is any solution available on that ?
Not that I know of, but there are 3rd party tools that can help, such as AvePoint.
@@AndyMaloneMVP Thank You, I will check it.
