And Aryana is dominant over Elena wait only 4-2 lead over Iga it's not like 11-1 as Iga dominant over coco or sth else definitely Iga will beat her not only in class but also in grass too
@@Frank-xn8bsagree something is wrong with her, really hope its not her coach and hope he is not a narcissist. Otherwise, she is in trouble, as she is very loyal to him
sorry but she definitely dont look healthy more ill or whatever. Not really focused but in life there are somtimes hard moments (somebody from her nearer family could be ill for example). It looks like she isnt fresh at the moment, perhaps allergys in spring or some other things thats affects her
She speaks like she very very tired...does not look or speak fresh...1ga beats Aryna and Elena as well though she defeated 1ga but it was some time ago. Lately, it had been 1ga who won. Good luck to all players.
because she is not confortable in English and she really need to improve her command of this language. In Russian the interviews are completely different and she really seems much more cooperative
Elena does not look healthy. I hope whatever is going on for her, things start to look up soon. We've seen Elena when she is hapoy and healthy and this is not it. I really hope she is okay.
I wished she acted more like a professional. I understand that these interviews can be tiring sometimes but they are part of the package of being a professional tennis player. In this interview, she is acting as if she has just been released from the hospital a little too soon. In almost every interview before every tournament, she complains about being tired and her busy schedules. Didn't anybody tell her that tennis is a demanding sport before she turned professional. By watching this interview you would not believe that she is one of the heavy hitters in women's tennis. so without any energy. She is 24 years old and not a child. Sit up straight and act like a mature woman. Wether you like it or not young girls look up to you as a role model.
Geez, what's your problem to be so judgemental? There are plenty of friendly interviews with Elena. It is well known that she is an introvert, so she isn't comfortable in these settings. She definitely looked tired and listless in this press conference. But we all have bad days in the office sometimes, we just are lucky that no one films us on these days. Yes, media availabilities are part of her job. But are you great at every aspect of your job every day? Film yourself on a bad day and put it on YT, then let's talk! Do you even know how much effort it takes for all these players to reach that level. At age 24 she basically has done this for a decade, travelling around the world, playing junior ITFs and spending countless hours on the practice court and in Elenas case, unlike most other aspiring pros, she had to balance that with regular school. She also had practice only in group settings until age 17, which is why she still is catching up in terms of physical strenght with other players who normally started single lessons at a much, much younger age. I think she is - just as Iga, Aryna, Coco, Danielle, Dasha, Jess, Ons - a great role model and I think it's great that they have so different personalities and temperaments. But I give you that: Elena and her team should work on the scheduling. She definitely is more fragile than other players. That's totally ok, just give yourself more time to recover between torunaments. Why for example be the only top player who plays Adelaide between Brisbane and Melbourne? Why be the only top player to play all three events on the Middle East swing.
Believe it or not, I am actually a fan of hers. I actually appreciate her being an introvert which brings about her calm demeanor on court, her fighting spirit, usually smiling and thanking the crowd for turning up and supporting her... That is why watching her last few interviews have been so disappointing. It is actually the opposite of what she portrays on court. She has said that Roger Federer is her favorite tennis player. Well look at Federer and his behavior on and off the court and how he interacted with the press. Even when he had a problem with a question he articulated it well enough to be able to put his point across instead of crouching on the table in front and giving one line responses. Look ultimately a tennis player turns professional because he or she wants to follow his or her passion and make good money while doing it. True We have all had bad days at work as long as she realizes that she has had a bad day at work and try not to make a regular occurrence.
Similar to Rome interview, if you are a top player, you need to be able to handle the journalists and other stuff related to be famous. Her workload in that respect is 30 % compared to Iga.
I suspect that's the effect of her narcistic coach on her. Narcissists drain your energy out. At the beginning, he may helped improve her game, but over longer period of time, the effect of narcissists is catastrophic on mental and psychology of people around them. She may need help. She is such a nice and emphatic person. But definitely, something is wrong.
@@Frank-xn8bs I have commented in many threads that she should make a hard decision (money she has): hire a professional coaching staff, with the persons responsible for the different areas. She can keep Vukov in the box but not as a main coach. Vukov is telling her things I have seen on the videos from 2021, like when she should step into the court, basic things….Look Iga’s team: physiotherapist who also is responsible for some track&field athletes in the international level, he gets a package of tailored information after each match, about the reaction times, runs and recoveries. They monitor her sleep, take the vitals in the morning and ask how she feels and then physio, a sport psychologist and the main coach decides about the plan of the day, if they need to adjust it. If there according to the data some consistent weakness, they train that area during the season in so called “micro doses” not to risk for injury. The sport psychologist, Daria, the family hired one year before coming to the WTA tour, that costed them not finishing their house but I think it has paid back well. Daria is also a former athlete in sailing sin the national level, so I think this balance in her team helps a lot. In my opinion Elena lacks of general athleticism because the muscles would support the bones, especially with her back and thighs problems. I also agree with you on this “vampire theory” which sucks you all the energy.
Надоело отвечать на одни и те же вопросы. Может устала от графика турниров. Но это РГ, она знает что надо быть на пресс-конференции. Девушка явно не публичная, не как Арина.
thats too easy to judge some people are introverts and they can be very interesting and fun with their own circle of people that they know well and feel comfortable with the way she talks in public and with strangers doesnt necessarily tell everything about her personality furthermore, she is succesful and attractive so she can attract most men easily nobody cares whether she is introverted or not, most men even prefer it
@@Harris19941 That's why I said "it's just an impression" and not an opinion about Elena, because I don't know her. I can say that she is a great tennis player and seems to be a nice person. As for men, she is attractive to them or not, it doesn't matter. Not every woman focuses on such silly things as being attractive to men. I think she would rather be a great tennis player than admire her for being pretty.
She seems very arrogant and rude in this press conference. Not good fo her fans and sponsors. She bcame the moen version of vukov. Bad attitude and very bad behaviour

Love Elena! Hope to see her 100% healthy! She is such a great player with a quiet personality
Elaine will be happy to not talk to any journalists. She just wants to play tennis and go to bed.

I've been waiting too. He just won.👍
