In this Skul the Hero Slayer video, I'll be using Ninja with a Poisoning centered strategy! Ninja is easily my favorite character in the entire game due to his unique movement mechanics, as well as his one of a kind ability system. Ninja's in-air basic attack works like no other, sending him flying through the air in whichever direction you're holding. This allows Ninja to zoom through a map faster than anyone else, which allows him to make quick escapes and reach areas in ways other skulls can't. Also, his abilities change depending when he's on the ground vs. when he's in the air, which gives him access to four total abilities at all times, with many powerful multi-stacking skills as well. This naturally lends him extremely well to Ability Spam Items, one of my personal favorite archetypes as well as one of the strongest. However, today we aren't focused on that, but rather a Poisoning archetype! Poison is the most consistent offensive status when compared to Arson and Excessive Bleeding, and this is due to, for one, how easy it is to apply when using the right items, but also the way it scales. Poison is, much like the other statuses, focused on your raw damage%, but with Poison pretty much all you need is raw damage% to make it powerful and functional. Poison is only further enhanced by the Dark Ability Weakness Exposure, which procs whenever you attack the enemy three times, and since Poison has a constant and consistent tick rate damaging the enemy your Weakness Exposure is also constantly proccing. The thing with Poison is with the item slots you're dedicating to the Poisoning inscription, you need to make up for those slots with good damage scaling items/inscriptions to make sure your Poison ticks are doing the deed, which isn't really hard thanks to the Dark Mirror's inscription pedestals. All in all, Poison is very consistent, easy to build, and powerful, and I hope to show that here. Genie is our partner of choice, can these two powerful skulls wield toxicity and show the world being toxic pays off?

(Also breaking a common skull gives you 5 shards, upgrading requires an investment of 10 shards for a reward of 11 resulting in a profit of 1. So you lose 4 shards upgrading)
Thief/ice was one of my go to starts when climbing mirror levels, now I take a lot of clown a lot, anyhow cool run, I feel like weakness exposure does so much damage in a lot of builds I take it all the time and I can see why you used to
The thing with ninja is that 9/10 people who said he was bad was because they didn’t no how to control ninja and this includes me now that a lot of people have minimum a few hundred hours we know how to properly control ninja correctly and now ninja is considered good is ninja going from hood to bad is just because of a community wide skill issue

Been playing for about a week now, and had a beautiful run on dm 4 yesterday with crit gambler. Until I got ravaged by a Gatling man stage 2 after one of those little stunning butlers ran into me after hiding in the big guys hitbox. Made it to hero but by then my mental was ruined.

I just got the game how are you able to just pick your skulls out?
It's The Dark Mirror, the harder version of the game you unlock after beating Normal Mode. You also wont be able to immediately have access to it, cause Dark Mirror has 10 levels of difficulty, and you unlock stuff as you ascend the levels. It starts at 0 and Dark Mirror 1 gives you the selection, but only commons.

imo you can use the same skull in videos as long the build is not the same cause that will be boring to watch .
