0:53 Factory lube isn’t the greatest and some cubes might come in stock bone dry. Usually, people buy lubes to achieve certain feels (plush, soft, etc.) or to speed up their cubes but you guys probably won’t need a faster cube for a while.
I used to do Rubik’s cubes back at uni but I’d forgotten one of the last algorithms so hadn’t done it in years. This made me pick up the cube again and I’ve been attempting F2L but I’m so slow at it 😅

there are special lubes for cubes. there are websites you can buy them from. also, you still should lube the cube even if it's designed to be fast. i mean, yah, you don't have to, but it's still plastic against plastic, lubing will make it smoother and last longer. also, better feel and more control. good luck! happy cubing ^_^
