  • Dr. Anne George is the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry’s Allan G. Brodie Endowed Professor, and professor of oral biology, and was selected as a UIC University Scholar in 2018.
George has been instrumental in cloning dentin matrix protein genes (DMPs) from the mineralized dentin matrix of animal models, and she is working towards dentists filling cavities with DMP1, which would allow dentin to regenerate.
George’s research focuses on regenerative science, biomaterials, bioengineering, and stem cell biology. She is the director of the college’s Brodie Tooth Development Genetics and Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory.
The research of George and her team on the role of the gene Dentin Matrix Protein 1 (DMP1) in bone metabolism could lead to a new way of filling oral caries. They are studying how proteins can regenerate dentin, a calcified tissue of the body that, along with enamel, cementum, and pulp, is one of the four major components of teeth.

It's been researching for years, and it's never been developed.
Let's continue to leave comments and do something to improve dental regeneration. You can't just develop it.
No research, no hope torture. We need to keep writing comments and making efforts to post comments.

Is there any way i can sign up for a clinical trial to regrow my teeth? Do you have any information about when trials might be coming up? I would do anything to make this happen. I don't want to live the rest of my life in pain. Is there a petition or something i can sign to help promote this research? What can i do to support this research.

Extract them and go for implants. This regenerative technology is not gonna come atleast for the next 100 years. Even if it will be possible, only dentin and pulp can be regrown, not enamel. Enamel cant be regenerated using stem cells as its acellular structure. So for the time being visit your dentist.

I hope this soon will be possible for us to use I hope didn't take much longer to come a real thing .
They been working on it for years every two or three decades this need to a reality by now .
Because people like me that have messing teeth where you can see it are a little bit depressed . Yes I know they are implants but I don't want those for several reasons
1 they are too expensive yes some instruments does pay for them but you better not have another emergency soon after getting the implant cuz you will be out of luck .
2 you have to go to the dentist and tighten every two to three months and you have to pay for that to every two to three months .
3 they may not even work with your mouth and your gums could reject the implants .
4 the implants could brake in your mouth if you eat something hard and it hurt more than your real tooth broking and you can swallow the pieces that is more dangerous than you swallow in your own tooth .
5 I don't care what nobody say they are not permanent sooner or later you will not have to swap them out for new ones it's made of the metal and plastic sooner or later these things can rotate then you would have to get a new one and then it will cost you the same amount of money to get a new one , even if you got insurance to pay for it after insurance pays for your dental implants you better not need nothing else right away because they won't pay for it right away that why I don't want that .
6 I heard that dental implants can sometime hurts the mouth and have your mouth in pain while they are inside your mouth . I think the Dental Foundation wants us getting dental implants so we have to come back to the dentist to get the teeth tighten in your mouth every two to three and so that means we have to pay more money every two to three months for our teeth to get fix if we want to keep the implants teeth to work . They just want our insurance money and our money .
Why is it taking so long 20 to 30 years this to make real tooth .
But we could clone animals how does that make sense .
And that leave me up to my next question what can we do this clone teeth .
I saw a video that says they can grow your teeth in your mouth but they just need to work on the enamel of your tooth that they have a problem making .
and they are working on all these animals why all day working on the newest on the animal closest to us primates monkeys and apes they are the ones with more DNA and features like humans so why not work on them the most I don't get it .

6 Tablespoons Baking soda, 2 teaspoons Trisodium phosphate, 16-24 oz. water. Shake thoroughly. Swish it thru your teeth 2-5 minutes. Do not swallow. You'll see black particles come loose. This will tighten gums and whiten the teeth also.

For now make the bridge to 2025, just in case. That means do everything as possible to be in live, and accept implants.

Great ideas and work. Thank you. But you should learn how to speak with your breath instead of that strained vocal chords sound that many women now days think sounds sexy or something. It makes it more difficult to understand what you’re saying and is irritating to the listener. Some men do it too. Some speak clearly until the ending of their sentence and then do that little strained sound on the last word or so. Am I the only one who ever notices this??
