I cannot do a tenth of what you have done, but I am doing it. This fall, my persimmon tree had several dozens of ripe sweet fruit. I only picked a few, leaving the rest for birds. I was so happy when they came to dine.

Here of late, I learned of a Gin Fizz tree (from Garden Answer on UA-cam) that has both male and female flowers to produce berries. My hopes are to bring in the Cedar Waxwings. Like yourself, I think they are such beautiful birds - my favorite indeed. Thanks again for sharing this valuable information with us! From you video I decided to try and find a Golden Currant (Ribes aureum) and add to the landscape.

Hi, Connie. Nice to meet you! Many years ago, we ripped out our entire back lawn so we could replace it with native shrubs, trees and flowers. We covered the permanent pathways with landscape fabric and a few inches of bark mulch so we could keep our shoes clean and keep weeds from coming up in the paths.
How wonderful! I love watching birds too. Your garden is a heaven. I want it in my dream :D

Unfortunately, burning bush/euonymous alatus is horribly invasive in the northeast.
Well, that's frustrating. I know plant choices can vary widely, based on the region.
