Thank you, Brigitte. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'm not sure if you saw my newest video about attracting birds, but you can watch it at this link: ua-cam.com/video/2LKSlJlY_L0/v-deo.html.

I cannot do a tenth of what you have done, but I am doing it. This fall, my persimmon tree had several dozens of ripe sweet fruit. I only picked a few, leaving the rest for birds. I was so happy when they came to dine.

Thank you, Joanne! I'm thinking of changing it for next year's videos since I've used this song for a few years. Hate to mess with success, though! Thanks so much for your kind comments.

I was just pondering this question today, how can I attract more birds to my tiny garden. You've given me some good ideas. Thank you!

Y'all have done a swell job with your landscape. I truly enjoyed watching what you planted to attract birds. Here of late, I learned of a Gin Fizz tree (from Garden Answer on UA-cam) that has both male and female flowers to produce berries. My hopes are to bring in the Cedar Waxwings. Like yourself, I think they are such beautiful birds - my favorite indeed. Thanks again for sharing this valuable information with us! From you video I decided to try and find a Golden Currant (Ribes aureum) and add to the landscape.

Thank you so much, Susan. I've never been much of a gardener so I've decided to tackle my very wild (and not too pretty) backyard and add pacific northwest flowers/plants to attract birds, bees, insects. You've given me great ideas on how to start. May I ask: I see you have the grounds covered in chips - is that to keep weeds out or...? Thank you!

Hi, Connie. Nice to meet you! Many years ago, we ripped out our entire back lawn so we could replace it with native shrubs, trees and flowers. We covered the permanent pathways with landscape fabric and a few inches of bark mulch so we could keep our shoes clean and keep weeds from coming up in the paths.

Unfortunately, burning bush/euonymous alatus is horribly invasive in the northeast.

Well, that's frustrating. I know plant choices can vary widely, based on the region.
