Han was Chans first kid. He took him under his wing. Then Changbin came and the created their group 3RACHA who wrote, made and produced their own music. Then after awhile Chan was given the opportunity to choose who he wants in a band that he would become the leader of (first in kpop history to choose his own members) so the members of 3RACHA have know and worked together long before stray kids which is why they are so comfortable roasting each other. Everyone was scared of Chan at first because he had the most training experience and was very strict because he was so focused on for all of them to succeed. The members realised that he was strict because he cares he didn’t want the to get in trouble by the managers. He takes his leadership seriously. He handles all the bad situations so they dont have to. He takes the criticisms so they don’t have to. If a member was told they weren’t doing well enough he would say no it’s my fault I should have pushed harder or noticed and fixed it so the member wouldn’t think they were failing alone. This is why he is the best leader. He genuinely cares for every members well being, he is tough on them to help them become better performers, and bares the responsibility of the companies input into the group so the the members won’t worry about it.
That time when Chan cried while the two of them ate together and Seungmin just gave him that quiet support sitting next to him. Not making a big deal of it cuz he knew Chan would feel bad. 😭🥰😭🥰
Bangchan is so loved, and rightfully so. He's such a good human being, he's caring, thoughtful, puts others before him, is selfless and is an amazing person through and through. There are times he openly tells us he doesn't feel like he's the amazing person everyone thinks he is but STAY and his members do such a good job at constantly reminding him how much he is loved. Seungmin is one of the best at complimenting the members genuinely and he does it quite a lot. He really loves his members and he teases them a ton but he’s also constantly showing his love too. A great balance. There’s so many more moments

Han's duality is incredible because he's the goofy member but he's also really mature and he always jump out with such deeps moments he always know what to say, Seungmin too he roast everyone all the time but you can count on him same with Lee Know that he's the older after Bang Chan, he's the weird one hut you can count on him, he has your back. At the end these 7 guys just shows love to Chan in the best way, they make him laugh, they hug him if its necessary, they're always there for him because he's always there for them, they're such a beautiful group/family.
It's a pity there was no moments from 2Kids Room cuz that is where you can see how much they love him and take care of him (or generally, of each other) in their own ways. Also that one time Chan and Han mentioned how Chan was working alone in his studio on his birthday, so Han went to find him and started sobbing like "Why are you here alone on your birthday 😭" and then Chan started sobbing with him like "Why- why are you crying?😭" then Han gave him a foot massage and took him to eat something 😩 My fav story honestly, personally I think you should watch compilations from 2kids room, they are really amazing, full of vulnerable, wholesome and funny moments and stories.

The thing with SKZ is that most of them either naturally have "affectionate bullying" as a love language, or they match energy with the ones who do. Watch people like that. Their actions are very telling. The people they bully most aggressively are the people they love and respect the most. The more I observe this group, the clearer it is to me that the reason why everyone in SKZ respects Bang Chan as their leader is because they were chosen by him and he has helped cultivate each and every member's skills, but the reason they love and respect him as a person is because he provides them with a safe space to be themselves. No hierarchy. No power trips. Respect across the board. He cares for their safety and wellbeing, often prioritizing them above himself. He advocates for them, both professionally and personally, with their company. He listens when they need to talk and talks when they need reassurance. He's not perfect and he makes mistakes just like the rest of us, but he apologizes when he needs to, owns his mistakes, and turns them into teachable moments with us and with his group. Knowing that, he really is an exemplary human being. They say one of the best displays of character is how a person treats their "inferiors." For Chan, except in the most professional of settings, he doesn't have any. To him, they're equals. He even delegated some of the leader duties to Minho, specifically in dance instruction and practice, because he was willing to recognize that, compared to Minho, dance was an area where he was lacking and the group would excel with Minho leading them in that aspect instead of him. I could go on and on and on about just how awesome I think Bang Chan is, but I imagine I'm getting annoying now. hahahaha

I love how with their "hug piles" you can always see the roles of each member in their relationship with Chan. You have Lix, Hyun, and I.n who tend to be emotionally supportive, Han and Bin who are supportive, but more in a comforting/directly caring for way, and Seung and LK being silent caretakers and being the emotionally stronger/stable ones.

StrayKids get ALOT of hate by every fandom on the daily, it gets so bad that once the FBI had to get involved at a concert because of people making threats to k!ll them there. The kids get accused of horrible things on the daily but the company JYPE doesn't do shit about it which why other fandoms take this opportunity to get really nasty and vile towards skz and stays. Chan told us alot of times to ignore people to be the bigger person etc. but i mean if people getting hit tweets saying chan is a p3do or hyunjin sa girls in highschool or news channels misstranslating bubble messages on purpose so it seems like felix tells stays to behave with having a leatherstrap around their neck you can't expect STAYS to not say anything and i think that's why he feels guilty even tho he shouldn't. god i hate this company for not giving a single fuck about the kids' safety. if you watch stray kids contents you will notice that seungmin takes care of bang chan silently. When they go to the market he always buys extra meat for Bang Chan to eat as much as he wants, he worries that Chan has too much weight on his shoulders for being a leader and his way, tries to make everything easier

Chan is a lovely human being. You can say he's significantly the reason why I can fully Stray Kids, it's a reassuring that someone like Chan leads the group. Sweet, genuine, hard working - really consistent with these qualities.
Chan is one of those few people people who can make work look fun, while still making sure everyone understand it's business at the end of the day. He's the best leader for many reasons. For putting his team members first, for making sure they're well and cared for. For letting them have their own moments to shine. For including them when it is clear that they feel left out. For accepting them as they are. We see that on a daily basis, and it still makes me tear up the fact that every time we tell him that, he still has a hard time accepting the compliment. These men are so wholesome, and I hope they'll be able to go through anything together, and cherish the results of their hard work.

I commented something similar in the skz roasting BC video but...in the begging skz were so young and quite honestly lost (literally stray kids) and they held onto chan for dear life all you ever heard then say was "he's an ace, a genius, triple threat, legendary trainee" I remember how different they expressed their love because again they weren't as close and mature so they used to take advantage of praising him on camera since it was less vulnerable than telling him directly. now though? They have so many private and deep talks they can do that whenever they're SO close that they're comfortable teasing and roasting him because they know they trust amd love and respect each other they don't have to say it on camera all the time. I felt that moment, he is so sincere. My heart went out to him and want to protect him too from whatever he's stressing out about. He used to livestream called "Chan's Room" every week. The thing with SKZ is that most of them either naturally have "affectionate bullying" as a love language, or they match energy with the ones who do. Watch people like that. Their actions are very telling. The people they bully most aggressively are the people they love and respect the most. The more I observe this group, the clearer it is to me that the reason why everyone in SKZ respects Bang Chan as their leader is because they were chosen by him and he has helped cultivate each and every member's skills, but the reason they love and respect him as a person is because he provides them with a safe space to be themselves. No hierarchy. No power trips. Respect across the board. He cares for their safety and wellbeing, often prioritizing them above himself. He advocates for them, both professionally and personally, with their company. He listens when they need to talk and talks when they need reassurance. He's not perfect and he makes mistakes just like the rest of us, but he apologizes when he needs to, owns his mistakes, and turns them into teachable moments with us and with his group. Knowing that, he really is an exemplary human being. They say one of the best displays of character is how a person treats their "inferiors." For Chan, except in the most professional of settings, he doesn't have any. To him, they're equals. He even delegated some of the leader duties to Minho, specifically in dance instruction and practice, because he was willing to recognize that, compared to Minho, dance was an area where he was lacking and the group would excel with Minho leading them in that aspect instead of him. I could go on and on and on about just how awesome I think Bang Chan is, but I imagine I'm getting annoying now. hahahaha
Bang Chan is not only the best leader for us Stays but also a great human being who is kind, caring, hardworking and also a source of inspiration for everyone. We really love Bang Chan, there's no one like him.❤

16:13 This is end of the "I'm going to protect all of you speech". If I'm not mistaken, a Stay who should have been to the concert, died and they found out. The concert was after the pantemic too. Chan was really really emotional and it's understandable. He has a lot of responsibility, tiredness and emotions pressuring him. That speech and seeing him like that always breaks my heart and makes me cry. I think this was mentioned it before in comments from your previous videos, but one of the worst thing is that some people and even "stays" judge him and make fun of him, they say he was being cringe and "pick me". When I first saw those videos and comments of people telling that, I couldn't believe my eyes. I still can't understand how some persona can be so mean and hate like this. He's so precious and sweet and he wants the best for us, and there those humans. I also seen comments like "I love him, but..." NO, YOU DON'T. SHUT UP, THERE SHOULD BE NO "BUT".

I love how with their "hug piles" you can always see the roles of each member in their relationship with Chan. You have Lix, Hyun, and I.n who tend to be emotionally supportive, Han and Bin who are supportive, but more in a comforting/directly caring for way, and Seung and LK being silent caretakers and being the emotionally stronger/stable ones.

StrayKids get ALOT of hate by every fandom on the daily, it gets so bad that once the FBI had to get involved at a concert because of people making threats to k!ll them there. The kids get accused of horrible things on the daily but the company JYPE doesn't do shit about it which why other fandoms take this opportunity to get really nasty and vile towards skz and stays.
Chan told us alot of times to ignore people to be the bigger person etc. but i mean if people getting hit tweets saying chan is a p3do or hyunjin sa girls in highschool or news channels misstranslating bubble messages on purpose so it seems like felix tells stays to behave with having a leatherstrap around their neck you can't expect STAYS to not say anything and i think that's why he feels guilty even tho he shouldn't.

Chan is a lovely human being. You can say he's significantly the reason why I can fully Stray Kids, it's a reassuring that someone like Chan leads the group. Sweet, genuine, hard working - really consistent with these qualities.
Chan is one of those few people people who can make work look fun, while still making sure everyone understand it's business at the end of the day. He's the best leader for many reasons. For putting his team members first, for making sure they're well and cared for. For letting them have their own moments to shine. For including them when it is clear that they feel left out. For accepting them as they are. We see that on a daily basis, and it still makes me tear up the fact that every time we tell him that, he still has a hard time accepting the compliment. These men are so wholesome, and I hope they'll be able to go through anything together, and cherish the results of their hard work.

I commented something similar in the skz roasting BC video but...in the begging skz were so young and quite honestly lost (literally stray kids) and they held onto chan for dear life all you ever heard then say was "he's an ace, a genius, triple threat, legendary trainee" I remember how different they expressed their love because again they weren't as close and mature so they used to take advantage of praising him on camera since it was less vulnerable than telling him directly. now though? They have so many private and deep talks they can do that whenever they're SO close that they're comfortable teasing and roasting him because they know they trust amd love and respect each other they don't have to say it on camera all the time. I felt that moment, he is so sincere. My heart went out to him and want to protect him too from whatever he's stressing out about. He used to livestream called "Chan's Room" every week. He hasn't done so since this May. We're hoping and praying he's getting lots of rest. I think you would enjoy watching his livestreams, Ben.
