That is awesome news. If you run into any problems just message me on Moorer's Bait Company page on Facebook. I would be glad to help. Where did you end up getting your starter kit from?
Hey Ron. I will continue to put videos up. I know I have not put any up lately. Ive been real busy with work, kids and summer activities. But don't worry I plan on continuing to make them. Glad to see people out there watching my videos. If you ever have any question when you start, feel free to send me a message or contact me on facebook. Thank you for watching.
one day I love to come check you out down there I have met people all over the world I am a fishing freak I caught a bass over 8lb when I was still in diapers fishing with a 2o2 on side of lake while mom an dad was cooking I been hook ever since lol
Most Stickbait mold makers also offer a lamination plate. I have the a few Basstackle 5" BT Stick molds, I think they were $80 each and the lamination plate was $25
well I use injector its easyer to hand pour I just bought me senko mold with the laminate plate going to give it a try I just have to make sure its all the way cool before next color
shouldnt take to long for it to cool down the 1st couple shots. i would suggest cutting pass the tear off sport on the mold. leave a piece so you can fit it back in the mold and that will help line up the bait properly when you go to place it back into the mold.
I caught a lot of record fish I never posted them..i caught the record yellow perch down there an turned him back after I showed my mom how big that eyesenhirer was I guess how you spell that lmao that what I was raised calling them
oh I caught it on a jerkbait my son 28 an he says all the time daddy they keep saying this is new stuff but you fished that way when you was a kid I said yea I did but was cause of custom baits the store didn't sell them
Simon Tapprich you pour the color you want for the tip then once it dries you cut it. Then you put the small part that you cut off back in the mold. Then you pour the color that you want for the main body
i know you can buy a splitter to do it with by hand or a machine but of course that machine is pricey. They also make molds that take a skirt spline if you didnt wanna have to cut them.
I've been saving old plastic baits that I can't use can I remelt those and reuse them with out losing any of there color or will I have to add more color?
Hey Ron. You could remelt them and use them again but it all depends on the colors. If its a green pumpkin or any other darker color you will be fine. Lighter colors you will have to add more colorant but i dont think you will ever get a chartreuse back to the right color state it once was.
I had accident an I got rubber back no bone in half my back an I died had heart surgery I cant just make a lot of baits I just make enough for me go fisher ever now an then I hadn't fished in years to my dr said I don't get out this chair I going to die so he talked me into going fishing that big bass tour an I won the boat at clark hill lol
now you see why I sit here watching all these people making baits on my tv but I only can ask something or say something on this computer I don't do this much cause it hurts to much to try to type im not good at this one finger one button lmao
Mike, I get my molds and plastic from Do-It Molds. Here is a link to the plastic and molds. Plastic - store.do-itmolds.com/Crystal-Clear-Plastisol-Phthalate-Free_p_295.html Molds - store.do-itmolds.com/Molds_c_252.html
Yes they are. The only real difference is the ones you make vs the real senko is yours will last alot longer vs the store bought brand. Way to soft. I think they do it on purpose just so the baits tear up to get you to buy more. haha
get them coming brother. You will save alot of money in the long run. Just throw your used/torn up worms aside and when you have enough remelt them and reuse them again. Thanks for watching BTW.
Salt is used for 2 reasons. 1st its a sinking additive to help the bait sink, that's why a GY senko has some much salt in it to create the fall rate. 2nd When salt and garlic are on the same bait, scent manufacturers claim salt and garlic together is the closest thing to the taste of real blood in which would make the fish hold onto the bait longer. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Nope other than the finish and the only other thing that is different is the way the mold open and closes. The high end has a better hinge than essential series does.
you cant pour the bait out a cup an hit it right to make a pretty bait an you can buy hand pour molds for 6 dollars I just paid over a hundred for injection mold
Hey Adam. I use both. It all depends on how many molds I plan on shooting. I think in every video ive made I was using the medium injector. If want to save some time and have multiple molds I would invest in a large injector.
is the double an triple injection worse about bleeding I always hand poured mine I got worms from 30 years ago an they still not bleed or fade...my son said them robo worms fade out an I know they using injection but I seen strike king going back to hand pouring
but the color not as good as it use to be I got hand pour worms when I was a kid they still look the same no bleeding no fading I thought we surpose to be getting smarter lol
an really what gets me it is exact the baits the big company sellng for that high dollar money I seen a guy took one an showed it he cut one half into its exact same lure
i had idea for a custom lure my son said i seen them at the store i said i don't believe that so we drove hour an half just to see an they not have them lol he always telling me its waiste of time to make own lures but i always catch more than him cause i don't let him use none of mine i said make your own lmao
It may just be for the video for you to be able to talk properly, but I'm surprised at how many people I see doing this without ventilation or with a mask on.
im working on a new one now not on the market either my son don't think they will bite it I said well you just watch me wind them big one in don't use it an I want give him one either lmao I cant hardly make my own I tell him make your own an he went sit in front of the tv he makes me mad sometimes
my son fishes in the fisher of men but he don't use my baits cause I told him not to tell no one cause I like catching bass I showed a pro one at lake murray now the world using it
you should have shown clips of you catching fish with this color at lake not in a pond lol pond bass hit anything they starving an no pressure I seen a guy years ago hand feeding 15 to 20lb bass in his pond
you can buy any custom color from china cheaper than just the plastic lol I always painted my crankbaits an now I seen china selling custom crankbait colors cheaper than you can buy the blank not counting hooks split rings an paint
I watch these guys on here they don't have a clue how to make bait I been using a hand pour all my life I watch these guys try to take a cup an pour in them little baits an make a mess lmao all you do take the cup an pour the plastic all over the mold take a butter knife scrap the top an the bait perfect everytime its messy but you just put the plastic right back in the cup it cleans up very fast
I just subbed very nice video! I just started shooting my own baits
Great video. I just bought my starter kit and my favorite colors and glitters cant wait to get started. Keep this channel going!!!!!!!
That is awesome news. If you run into any problems just message me on Moorer's Bait Company page on Facebook. I would be glad to help. Where did you end up getting your starter kit from?
I shure hope you keep makeing your videos and yea thanks to you I'll be taking up a new hobby soon makeing my own baits thank you so much
Carolina Bassin' Do you do this for a part time business??? You are pretty good at it.
Awesome stuff
one day I love to come check you out down there I have met people all over the world I am a fishing freak I caught a bass over 8lb when I was still in diapers fishing with a 2o2 on side of lake while mom an dad was cooking I been hook ever since lol
David I enjoyed the video my question is where did you get the laminate plate?
Most Stickbait mold makers also offer a lamination plate. I have the a few Basstackle 5" BT Stick molds, I think they were $80 each and the lamination plate was $25
Great job 👍🏻
well I use injector its easyer to hand pour I just bought me senko mold with the laminate plate going to give it a try I just have to make sure its all the way cool before next color
shouldnt take to long for it to cool down the 1st couple shots. i would suggest cutting pass the tear off sport on the mold. leave a piece so you can fit it back in the mold and that will help line up the bait properly when you go to place it back into the mold.
ok thx I made some I just hope the color don't bleed into each other I love this mold an I got me a swimbait mold also I love them
right now the baits looks good I won 1st place an big fish in tournament so to me they done paid for there self
Carolina Bassin' I like your videos how long do you microwave the plastic.
are the bass in that grass down there? my son been wanting to come down there I use to take him as kid weekend fishing trip down there
Great video!
Thank you buddy
Looks almost just as easy to pour the 1st half & inject the 2nd, cheaper too.
I do have a lot of custom baits that still not on the market or the way to fish them
my son has a hard time catching bass with them he always saying why cant I catch them like that lol
that tip you talking about waiting on plastic I did this an the baits come out perfect my friend said they are awesome thx for that tip
Do you sell baits ?
I caught a lot of record fish I never posted them..i caught the record yellow perch down there an turned him back after I showed my mom how big that eyesenhirer was I guess how you spell that lmao that what I was raised calling them
oh I caught it on a jerkbait my son 28 an he says all the time daddy they keep saying this is new stuff but you fished that way when you was a kid I said yea I did but was cause of custom baits the store didn't sell them
we hand made them out of wood just thought I share this
Nice vid
How did you do the senkos with different color tips on each side? is that going to be done in 3 stage shoots I assume?
Simon Tapprich you pour the color you want for the tip then once it dries you cut it. Then you put the small part that you cut off back in the mold. Then you pour the color that you want for the main body
do you have any videos on either dipping tubes or injection for tubes.?? thanks in advance
I have not made a video about tubes yet but i will have one in the future.
awesome. bc UA-cam is tube video why. i don't think there is a single video on splitting tails
i know you can buy a splitter to do it with by hand or a machine but of course that machine is pricey. They also make molds that take a skirt spline if you didnt wanna have to cut them.
looks like a laminate plate would work on any mold all you need is one ?
It will work with most molds but each plate has vents cut in it to match the mold to allow the trapped air to be released.

Just curious, why don't you add any salt to your senkos?
probly fishes texas rig more often
Where do you get the laminate plate from?
Where did u buy your molds and plastic
Mike,
I get my molds and plastic from Do-It Molds. Here is a link to the plastic and molds.
Plastic - store.do-itmolds.com/Crystal-Clear-Plastisol-Phthalate-Free_p_295.html
Molds - store.do-itmolds.com/Molds_c_252.html
Carolina Bassin'
Thank u
Anytime. If you have any other questions just let me know.
Mike Barbieri where do you get your Dyes, stabilizers and softeners (gcdull@gmail.com)
Are the plastics available for pouring/injecting as productive as the original senkos?
Yes they are. The only real difference is the ones you make vs the real senko is yours will last alot longer vs the store bought brand. Way to soft. I think they do it on purpose just so the baits tear up to get you to buy more. haha
Haha right on man might have got bight the bullet and get some molds ordered
get them coming brother. You will save alot of money in the long run. Just throw your used/torn up worms aside and when you have enough remelt them and reuse them again. Thanks for watching BTW.
Get a vacuum chamber to pull the bubbles out of your plastic.
oh i live in Carolina i won the boat at clarkhill bass pro shop tournament in may
I see a lot of folks using salt in their plastic. What's your opinion on it?
Salt is used for 2 reasons. 1st its a sinking additive to help the bait sink, that's why a GY senko has some much salt in it to create the fall rate. 2nd When salt and garlic are on the same bait, scent manufacturers claim salt and garlic together is the closest thing to the taste of real blood in which would make the fish hold onto the bait longer. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
are you using the essential series mold or the high end senko mold by do it?
Essential series. gives the bait a more rough texture finish on the bait. The high end mold makes a nice clean finish bait like a real senko looks.
Carolina Bassin' are there any differences other than texture between the 2 molds?
Nope other than the finish and the only other thing that is different is the way the mold open and closes. The high end has a better hinge than essential series does.
you cant pour the bait out a cup an hit it right to make a pretty bait an you can buy hand pour molds for 6 dollars I just paid over a hundred for injection mold
I just getting back into the hobby I use to hand pour my baits but I want to start injection it makes it lot easier don't have to do trim work
Ive never open poured before but i can see how the trimming would get old very fast.
Can I just melt lures and put them in the mold ?
yes you can as long as it isnt a elaztech bait.
I use the same mold but my baits always come out cloudy. What am I doing wrong??
@Moore’s bait company
It depends on what plastisol you’re using I prefer dead on pastix it doesn’t come out cloudy
do you use the medium or large injector?
Hey Adam. I use both. It all depends on how many molds I plan on shooting. I think in every video ive made I was using the medium injector. If want to save some time and have multiple molds I would invest in a large injector.
Carolina Bassin' Do you sell any of your baits??
why not just buy a duel injector instead of extra plates for each mold?
What kind of salt can you put in them?
I use a fine grade salt i buy from pouryourownworms but you can also use popcorn salt
be cheaper to just buy a double injection if you have to buy a laminate plate for every mold
Yes sir you are correct. I have one i use on most of my molds. Senko can be a little tricky from time to time with it bleeding.
is the double an triple injection worse about bleeding I always hand poured mine I got worms from 30 years ago an they still not bleed or fade...my son said them robo worms fade out an I know they using injection but I seen strike king going back to hand pouring
well hack attack said machine hand pouring lmao
Sent you a message, I am interested in buying Senkos. Thanks
I dont think i ever rec'd it buddy. I dont see one with the name you have listed on youtube.
but the color not as good as it use to be I got hand pour worms when I was a kid they still look the same no bleeding no fading I thought we surpose to be getting smarter lol
an really what gets me it is exact the baits the big company sellng for that high dollar money I seen a guy took one an showed it he cut one half into its exact same lure

im working on a new one now not on the market either my son don't think they will bite it I said well you just watch me wind them big one in don't use it an I want give him one either lmao I cant hardly make my own I tell him make your own an he went sit in front of the tv he makes me mad sometimes
my son fishes in the fisher of men but he don't use my baits cause I told him not to tell no one cause I like catching bass I showed a pro one at lake murray now the world using it
I thought most of the color today don't bleed?
They make all kinds of colors. Some are non bleed and some are transparent.
you should have shown clips of you catching fish with this color at lake not in a pond lol pond bass hit anything they starving an no pressure I seen a guy years ago hand feeding 15 to 20lb bass in his pond
just like the law just made proctor an gamble change there detergents
you can buy any custom color from china cheaper than just the plastic lol I always painted my crankbaits an now I seen china selling custom crankbait colors cheaper than you can buy the blank not counting hooks split rings an paint
im in greenwood I fish down there a lot I use to date a girl down there
I watch these guys on here they don't have a clue how to make bait I been using a hand pour all my life I watch these guys try to take a cup an pour in them little baits an make a mess lmao all you do take the cup an pour the plastic all over the mold take a butter knife scrap the top an the bait perfect everytime its messy but you just put the plastic right back in the cup it cleans up very fast
an I know for a fact the paint not as good as it use to be we have laws made them change the paint
